The salesman did not ring back and i see the car is still advertised.

Taken others advise I decided to advertise for private sale so i have the cash to walk into any caryard and deal.

Nothing against the good people who live and work there, its the type of people who brought weekenders from Melbourne and in doing so put the prices of houses through the roof.

The Salesman rang back and offered me a further $750 tradein. Stuck to me guns and said no, i wanted another $2000. Have not heard back.

I see in the paper the dealers have got an end of year sale on this weekend and the Territory is advertised. i suspect i will get a call on Monday if the car does’nt sell over the weekend. Also seen the exact same model of my Rodeo priced at 22k in another car yard. A sitload more than what they said it was worth privatly, not trade in.
