Good to know someone will be doing the ADV thing Gavb and Mickp ;)

I Would like to join you both for the Saturday run if that’s alright

I will be driving up and camping in the trailer so will opt out of the whole journey with you, the hardened Adventurer that I am

    Cheers James

I guess other ADV people will be getting to the Birthday in different ways other than Mickp and Gavb, but was wondering if the Saturday ADV ride will still be on with the apparent lack of interest. Was thinking of loading up the trailer and heading up.

Long way to go to drink beer, and would be good if there was a ride

So what to load, bike and esky or just esky

    Cheers James

Well this won’t take long to fill up :woohoo: I can understand why, they have all been quality weekends.
It’s good to see some guys have got the bug from the last one and some others are getting addicted

Look forward to catching up with everyone.

    PTW

Addiction is an understatement Pete 😆

With everybody catered for at the one location on both evenings this time, it will add a little something to the overall experience.
Like Woodstock in Feb,all under the one roof not spread out hear there and everywhere ;)

You best be rectifying your thought James and finding that rectifier
At least you may be able to sort it quickly next time it brings you to a halt ;)

I`m sure there are more than enough of those Tenere owners around that can help sort you out with it

    See you soon mate

I have done a little movie Eagle (as I said I would) but at the minute I have only 26hrs in a day and have been loading the movie from the weekend. Relax it will be posted up later. I have also been trying to find the name of the water proof grease because that will be the next question

Grease what grease

James it will be water in the rectifier plug I just fixed Wolfie’s

I will do a how to video on how to fix it tomorrow night ;)

    TB

It would appear the rectifier has rectified itself, just tried to start her up and no worries, ;)

Would it have just dried out by itself

Not complaining,as I didn’t know where to look or what to do anyway

It`s in the wrong section mate,,,
I don`t have moderator access in here

   That’s funny Eags! But seriously on the Flat battery issue I,m not sure if you have a Tapp Lite Power supply wired into your bike but I have also found that if left connected permanently to your battery it will drain it over time.

    Cheers,
    Left ;)

No,nothing like that Lefty, use batterys in the GPS, no heated grips or any other fancy stuff

Just road the bike home the 2 or 3 hours whatever it was and turned it off in the shed and hadn’t touched it till this arvo.

Had no dramas with it on the way home either, didn’t stall on me or anything like that

Good to know theres a fix for it Eagle :P

Hope my wife didn’t cause you too much confusion

    Not at all mate,,,
We had a good old online chat about YOU :P
I did recommend that you buy yourself a SPOT tracker though so we can keep closer tabs on ya 😆

    Cheers

Yes its another item on a long list of must haves but not necessarily needs :P

Or maybe that is the one item that is a must have :pinch:

I would recommend one mate it is a good security blanket. I was sending custom messages regularly so the Mrs could see that all was ok  and not to cash in on the insurance just yet :P
It would have also been good so that Eags could let me know where you were

    Cheers,
    Left B)

Technically speaking Lefty, seeing as though we hadnt left the carpark and entered the course proper,

We weren’t lost   :pinch:
