Not on a tenere but I have had braided lines on other bikes and they do give better feel. Not sure what you are asking about banjo bolts though, they should just fit up with the original bolts. Maybe replace the washers though.
Thanks Adam for organising and leading, G-mac for sweeping and everyone for a good ride. As Adam said, everyone was keeping an even pace so there weren’t too many delays or chances for pics or videos. I was starting to struggle towards the end though after not having done much riding in the past 12 months or more since my shoulder operation in September last year. Add to that the bike kept stalling and being difficult to start and I had run out of water I decided to head for the cars and leave the last singles for another time.
I headed off down the fire trails and only got maybe 2km down the road before I had to switch to reserve (which may have been why the bike kept stalling). I made it out on yo the tar but ran out of fuel about 5km from the cars. Luckily for me there was a Good Samaritan that saw me pushing the bike and came out from his house to offer assistance. He was kind enough to give me some fuel and a bottle of water and I was able to get back to the car ok.
Only 1 picture from the day where G-mac was playing on a hill and managed to pull off one of the most difficult parking stunts possible.
Where abouts at Dooralong are we meeting Adam?
Count me in Adam.
Nice work gents. Now that I am home and once I get myself organised I will have to get out there with you guys
G’day Mr Kram,
It’s awefully quiet around here these days.
Wow, been a while since I have seen a ride posted here. another month or so and I will be good to go.
I’d be in depending on when of course.
Thanks Gents
Drill bit and easy outs is the only way I know to remove snapped bolts.
