It was, otherwise I would have broken something attached to me instead of just bits attached to the bike
Practice makes perfect action, just be sure to only put the leavers in the minimum distance to minimise the chances of another pinch and use either baby powder or some soap like car wash on the bead to allow it to better slide over the rim when your putting it back on.

I might have to get out there this weekend for a play :woohoo:
be careful if you are on your ownsome mate, it is easy to get caught out
Yep, had some experience with that. Here is a trophy from my past experience, it’s the front rim. :S Luckily I only had some bumps and bruises

Fitted the Rear TKC this arvo, wasn’t too bad a job to do. Hardest part is breaking the bead on the tubeless tyres. Lucky I remembered someone recently mentioning using a G-Clamp. Scratched the rimes a bit but the old black texta will fix that. Just need to get hold of a 12mm allen key so I can get the front wheel off to fit that one. Changed the rear brake pads while I was at it, they were only half worn but better to change them now and keep the half worn ones for spares, may do the same on the front depending on their condition when I pull them.
Tick tock :woohoo:Happy Birthday Bill, hope it’s been a great day.
I take it thats the wall of death Mal, looks like awesome fun. If only I had been at my new job longer I would have had a sickie or gotten the day off somehow, I reckon the Berg would have eaten that stuff up.
Just been going through the bank and Mastercard statements, I have spent over $6,000 on various things for the different bikes and the trip in the last couple of months,,,,,,,,,,,, and still cheaper than a wife
. The biggest single outlay was for the suspension tuning on the DRZ and the Veestrom at $1650 including new headstock bearings and removing the swingarm to check the bearings there as well as checking the valves and cleaning out the carby on the DRZ (when they started it the fuel ran out the overflow), they found bits of fluff and other dirt in there, probably should have replaced the crumbling airfilter a bit sooner
Ooh, just remeberd, need some decent foot pegs before I go too.
Got stuck into the preparations for the trip today, fitted the Biketique Barkbusters and Shoo Roos to the bike then got everything I am taking together and loaded it onto the bike including clothes. Still got to get some food to take which is fine as I still have room. I think I will get a tank bag as well just for putting things like the camera and wallet within easy reach and access. The bike is all loaded up and I will ride it to the meeting tomorrow coming back along the old Pacific Highway and over the Wattagns as a test run to see how the loads handles. The only other thing left to do is to get the tyres fitted, I was talking to a bloke yesterday that said the TKC Continentals would scrub pretty quickly on the tar and that I should have them fitted in Condo. I don’t know that we would have time Monday morning before we headed off, will see what others think at the meeting.
Some pics of the days events. The gear layed out (excluding clothes).
Loaded on the bike
The Biketique Hanguards
The Shoo Roos
The new Tyres waiting to be fitted
I even got a bit excited and fitted a new Pirelli Scorpion to the front of the DRZ
,,,,,,and the radiator guards to the Husaberg
I also fitted a rear rack, frame guards and case savers to the DRZ last weekend,,,,,,, even with a shocking hangover
That just leave on oil change (for all the bikes actually) and I am ready to go, good bad or indifferent, Bring it on :woohoo:King Crash wrote:

t-shirt style is fixed ,ordered and paid for, below are front and back art work that is changeable.
Very nice Nick, can I have one with the thin stomach like the model
You know I had forgotten about the “Welcome Hill”, I guess after a while all the hills blur into one another
,,and Menace if I unleashed all the ponies from the berg I would be left flapping of the back like a rag
but it was funny just to be playing around and popping wheelies behind all you drag racers and only be 20 meters behind at the end of your ‘race’. Aaahh good times, good times

Thats ok Owl, I pick up the Veestrom from the suspension place this arvo so it’s a good excuse to take it for a run.
