Not tubeless, the weestrom is in having the suspension done so I was on the Banana. Just used a patch, as I didn’t have the spare tube with me.

I continued my preparations today, I went for a ride. Left home at 8 this morning and road from Black hill into Stockrington, through to Mt Sugarloaf where I got a flat. The to the gap servo for morning tea and on into the Wattagans, road around there for a few hours (not too sure where I was though other than going past Heaton Lookout) came out at Cooranbong. Back to Freemans Waterhole on the tar then back into the bush again through to Stockrington and Blackhill to home. Got another puncture in the last bit of bush I guess but didn’t realise until I got to the round about at the end of the F3 when I nearly lost the front end going around it. Couldn’t be arsed fixiing it at that stage so road the rest of the way home like that, tyre is about knackered anyway. Got home just after 2 with only 2 stops really, one to fix the puncture and 1 for morning tea at 10.30. So thats about 3 and a half hours where I only stoppped to take a picture, aching all over now. Was going to do a ride report but the batteries were a bit flat on the helmet cam and the 11 videos I took are all about 2 seconds each :( , I thought I had some goos ones too.

I spoke with Mal on Thursday arvo last week and asked him to send the tyre up, arrived home at lunch time on Friday and the tyres were already there. The Veestrom is in having the suspension done to I thought I would be lazy and take the tyres there to be fitted but they weren’t interested in it so I guess I will have to do then myself after all :(. Anyone had experience fitting tubless tyres or have any tips.

I found a really easy way to remove them Mick, while the bike was having the suspension done I had them change the bearings as well, dead easy. :D :D :D.

I got them to check the swing arm bearings as well and they only needed a bit of grease probably because there are grease nipple for them ones that get an occasional squirt.

Apparently I was in the zone all day on Saturday (not so much Sunday), on Saturday night Menace was talking the 2 of us having a good duel but I must have been totally in the zone and focused in me because I don’t remeber running with him.
