TB
He will need the roll of fifties just for the train ticket to town.
It cost me I think $15 for a 5 minute trip in January.
Lucky this is Tech help STM or you would be in for it.
I am only guessing but I wouldn’t think the dry lube would get between the links as it were, where you need the lubrication. Wouldn’t it only be where you rub it which is on the outside.
I was also told by a bloke once that he preferred the thinner lubricants rather than the thicker tacky ones which would cause more dirt and dust to stick to the chain so causing more damage, which made sense to me.Hey, stole this from ADVRider, but as you changed the front guard on the Tenere it kinda might interest you TB.
Quote: When we get to a village we stop for some refreshments. Have a look at my headlight and screen on the X and the headlight and screen on Hennie’s 800. We had just ridden the exact same road. Now please explain to me how BMW finds it appropriate to fit an ornamental fender to the most off-road biased model in their range?
UnquoteCool, should only get lost once or twice

Sorry, just a bit bored at the moment so amusing myself at the expense of others  :S :woohoo:
What’s the plan from Gloucester Greg, through to Stroud then what. I know a track from Stroud to Clarence Town.
G’day Tim, there is a thread for the run here http://www.obtrailriders.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=56&func=view&catid=58&id=78643&limit=30&limitstart=240 You only need to go to the ride thread your interested in and reply. One of the organisers will then add your name to the list. How about doing a bit of an introduction in the Introduce Yourself section and tell us a bit about yourself, where your from, what you ride, that sort of thing.
Welcome to OBT
Just another thought but unless you want head out and blaze your own trails, you don’t really need it. I got both the street and the topo maps. The topo is interesting to see the terraine of a planned route but you can get the same effect with google earth. You just copy your route onto google earth and away you go.
The street maps have most of the fire trails on them anyway. When I road from my place to Buladelah, I used the Garmin street maps and google earth to work out where I was going. Google Earth had a few more of the fire trail names than the Garmin but I got through with no problems.
