I have heard good things of Chris Watson at Cessnock. I bought my bike from him and he was very helpful and gave what I thought was a good deal with extra’s thrown in.
I have heard that people travel a long way to deal with him due to the good deals he does.

Great stuff Mick, I gave up 9 years ago last month.

I reckon now it only takes 5 minutes to give up smoking, there will be alot of those 5 minutes though. Each craving only last for a few minutes before something else gets your attention for a little while and you forget about it until the next time it hits but again maybe only 5 minutes and it’s gone again.
Good luck with it Mick, hope you kick it Mate.

Welcome back Dick, I haven’t seen you on here for a while. I would have liked to meet Dick that day, perhaps another time.

in reply to: Flat Tyres no heavy duty tubes why would you #178711

I just put a heavy duty job on the back of the DRZ (managed to buy a single replacement spoke 6 bucks for a stainless steel jobby), they’re usually pretty good for stopping pinch flats from rocks, sadly not so good at stopping pinch flats from idiots with tyre leavers :( . patched up the old one which was a UHD and stuck that back in.

Just don’t go putting water on it to cool it, the rapid cooling will cause brittlness. I am a boilermaker/welder, but these day work as a welding supervisor/Inspector but live too far away and don’t have my own welding equipment anyway. The frame will only be a basic carbon steel which is an easy weld for any semi skilled welder mate, I’m sure it will be fine. ;)

Awesome report there, I doubt that anyone could read it and not be a bit envious. So where is all the video footage?
