You blokes are stupid! It’s a downhill bike, you don’t need pedals to go downhill.
Congratulations on being a Grandpa Snowy.

Wigster wrote:Thanks James.I’ll tell you what it was hot out Tamworth way. I nearly died of thirst on the way home. In fact so close to death was I that I was only saved by rehydrating at several hostelries in Scone. I rehydrated so much I had to stay the night in one of them. It was awful I tell you…..

Good on you Wigster
Looks like the Honda was holding him back last year.
Nice work Fuchsy. I will be updating my WR once I am home long enough to make it worthwhile.

You could be onto something there buddy. It has been very adventurous around here for a while !
Then it is up to you non-adventure guys to organise more rides and do more reports to sway the balance back again.
I put mine in storage for the next 3 months, but not before O found a split in the clutch cover plate. I will have to remember that when I get back.
Called on to see the guys at Flynn the other day to grab a new tyre, tube and some other bits and pieces. They do free fitting of tyres when purchased from them but I didn’t have the bike or wheel with me so I put it off until today. Called in on my way to Walleroo SF and had the new tyre and tube fitted and picked up a couple of other bits and pieces while I was there. Ian was very helpful and gave a good discount as well.
They had gotten in a range of Beta’s there as well that look pretty flash.
Thanks Ian and Flynnotorsports
I swapped my 2007 DRZ400 for a 2007 WR450F a while back and have not regretted it. I also don’t mind a bit of fire trail or single trail and the WR does both fine. The extra power never goes astray and the easier stopping and turning saves a ton of energy. I swapped with Bigger Al at nundle one day getting back on a DRZ and the difference in the singles going back to back was huge. By the end of the next single I was huffing and puffing more than I had been all day and couldn’t wait together back on the WR.
Mate I got over but it wasn’t pretty, there were arms and legs going everywhere. Lucky for me no one else was filming to catch the ungainliness of it all
