:( I am crap with tools and mechanical type stuff but can handle a gerry can and a pump, even been known to have a go at tyre changes occasionally. Work permitting (and other half as well  ) I would be interested to get down there to help out and see how it all works.

Yeh I read that last week (not a lot to do over here at the moment), looks like a top ride and it is an excellent report. Another good one is the Salt and Gold one although it isn’t finished yet.

No Mick, standard pegs. I will say that when I was trying the balls of the feet thing it was on my old TT600 with fairly worn out pegs and cheap boots but every bump I felt like my foot was about to slip off

What is it your looking for, more power, less noise or just to replace a broken or worn out unit?

in reply to: Bike switch options #168486

What about registration time AB, you will need your horn and blinkers ten. Any switch you get will be better to be waterproof as well so you could look at somewhere like Bias boating warehouse in Hunter street near the railway bridge.

Tensile strength and shear strength are directly related, as tensile strength goes up, so too does the shear strength. Hardness is the main concern, the higher the hardness, the lower the impact value and therefore the greater likelyhood of shear failure from any impacts.
