I was sitting here looking at the picture thinking i’ve got nothing, then I realised it’s still a lot more than Dan has at that point.

No but he was right behind me when I hurt myself which is probably why I did it, pushing a bit harder knowing someone was right on my tail.

:( You wouldn’t want my bike at the moment Boony, she was running like a pig by the end of the ride coughing and misfiring and not wanting to start. As we were heading back to the camping area it started to come good so I just kept going while the going was good as I had ridden there in the first place but then when I stopped to refuel the trouble started again. I think it was to do with the float level or dirt in the jets. I stopped at one point on the way out and gave the carby a few taps and that’s when it started to go ok, but then when I came out after paying for fuel, the fuel was running out the overflow. I gave it a few taps again but it didn’t stop so I just road it down the freeway like that. Got it home and put it the shed, had a quick shower and straight to the hospital, I gave it a quick wash on Monday before I left for the airport but she still needs a good clean inside and out I think.

But you can have it to clean up and fix for me in the mean time if you like. :woohoo:

Alpine stars Corey, not cheap ones either at around $500. I don’t think it would have mattered which boots I was wearing though, I was riding single track and bounced of course where my foot got jammed between the footpeg and a tree or stunp or something causing my foot to bend under, I also have bruising to the ankle. The boots themselves don’t have any damage.

The mates and I used to go there camping every long weekend for about 3 years running when we were in our late teens, good times, good memories. ;)

Right now that I have found the right thread, she looks good Jeffro.

Was it nice and comfy to ride? I only ask that because it looks very comfy. Is the seat plush? It’s important to have a plush seat you know.

The seat is pretty good, it was re-padded and covered a year ago by Cumfy but with my lack of time in the saddle of late it still felt a bit hard by the time I had gone maybe 80km’s.

Nice work Jeffro how good does that look? We will have to do an dual sport ride up through there to say Wauchope and over to Tamworth and home one weekend when you get it setup.

Sounds like a good plan but I will need to be home long enough to get the little problems sorted.

Yeh mate I am out of the country until Christmas then again in the new year for most of January so it could be a little while before I get a chance to fix the little problems up and get into a decent ride but look forward to it when I can.

Sounds like a good trip there Scott, will have to hook up for a ride after Christmas sometime when I get back. I have a new (to me) Transalp I picked up on Sunday. Just need to put some decent tyres on it and fix a couple of other little things and all will be good.
