Happy Birthday Dan the Yammy man, hope it’s a great day for you not just today but everyday.
Mate as far as hurting your bike goes, it shouldn’t be an issue so long as you don’t have it pinned the whole way. Can’t help you with fuel economy though, it depends on your gearing and what sort of speeds you will be doing, you could maybe just work off your trailriding K’s and add a bit for the smoother riding. Depending on how much time you have before the ride you could consider one of the rear tanks from Nomad tanks, I put one on the DRZ for a long ride, it’s still on I just don’t fill it unless I need it, the one I bought is 7.5 litres so all up I can carry 21 litres.

For a moment there Dan I thought it was Moto’s reply
Hey Jak, I have the same camera and was considering mounting the same way but I thought the videos might come out upside down, do you have to do anything to stop that or does the camera automatically adjust.

Kylie my bike needs a good clean up, seeing as you do such a good job i’ll organise to have it dropped off so you can give it a scrub for me.

C’mon Menace, finish your story before you kill too many brain cells this weekend and forget everything, you guys know I have to live through your riding stories until I can get back into it myself
Wooh Champo, that stirred the pot, somethings are Australian sacred I reckon mate.
I spotted in Trailzone mag this morning that the KTM 300, 450 and 530 all weigh the same at I think it was 109.5kg, that was according the the KTM advert, seems a bit odd to me.
Congrats on the the 500 STM, I bet when you first signed up you didn’t expect this site to become a part of your daily routine did you, maybe it should come with some sort of warning about it’s addictive qualities.
My bad
What exhaust are you going with Boony, I have a TK pipe on mine, there was a fairly big power drop when I fitted it until I did (read paid someone to do  ) the jetting modifications they reccomended. Sounds quieter as well I reckon, unless you take the bung out.
You need some circlip pliers, I don’t have any but they are not that expensive, you just need to make sure you get the right size as they come in different sizes fit into the holes, I think there may be internal external types for the internal and external circlips
Happy Birthday Racy
