We could do with a decent hammer man at work occasionally.
What are you like with a 14 pounder??
Glad she is up and going again mate
Cheers :cheer:
MurphUsed to be pretty handy with the big hammers in my days on the tools (Boilermaker), desk jockey now though, anything heavier than a pencil and I’m over exerting :S
Sometimes in life the simplest things are the best, a few taps and away she went and with fuel running out underneath, a few more taps and no leaks. Just as well too, that is pretty clos to my mechanical limits.
Yeh Thanks guys, I will have a go at the tap and try. One of my mates who is very mechanically minded and good with carbies always as beer in the fridge as well, so if the tapping doesn’t work i’ll take it to old mate and have a beer.

On a serious note, taking into consideration what Jeffro quite correctly identified, do you think that this would cause a safety issue? I have no idea but if they put it in the book then they must have a reason for it.Apart from the soft tail of the bike as already mentioned you might need to consider where you would stand with insurance if something were to happen while riding 2 up, you could find yourself without cover. (Sorry to be a wet blanket  )
p.s. like the look of the new wheels, sweeeeet.
I was told it was not good to use them by the manager at the local Kawasaki dealership when I was looking at buying the KLX450, he sadi they he had seen plenty of bikes come through his shop over the years with damage caused by pressure washers. But like TB said, a bit of common sense (and yes I know it’s not all that common) on where you blast and where you don’t goes a long way to making the difference. The type of pressure your using would also make a difference, if you have ever tried a petrol powered washer, there’s enough pressure there to knock a bike of it’s stand.

Nice buy there Princess. What’s the reason for the change, obviously you have gone for one of the best bikes in the world
but what is it that the scorpion was missing?
p.s. I will be home Thursday for 10 days so I am keen for a ride this weekend or through the following week, any takers?
I used to tie he ends of my straps back to the tie rail sometimes, one time the hook had come off but the knot on the end of the tie held the bike in place.I always tie the ends of now
Bloody Moto, only back in town 5 minutes and already leaving a trail of destruction behind him.
Good Luck with the surgery TB, I would have missed the ride by a week anyway still being OS so it works out good for me. Will definately be around for February ride.
I laughed so hard a little bit of wee came out
Welcome Hamish, You will be in good company here, plenty of Honda and particlularly XR600 fans.
Nice work Champo, I recognised a couple of those tracks, can’t say it’s my cup of tea though with all that pushing and pulling. Well done to all that made the ride.

Good work Menace, what’s a bike gang without a whore.
I have a mate who went from a TTR 230 to the KTM200, he reckons it’s the bees knees. I have seen video footage of him on it at freeflight (I think it was there), it looked fast and was getting some good air.
