All the best with the recovery Puddles.
You better get your mate to sign up Ian, this thread will end up with too much info for you to be able to pass it all on at this rate.
I should pay someone to go to bike shops for me, I am sure it would be cheaper then going myself.
I went down to get some tyres for the Tenere and ended up buying the$800 Arai XD4 while I was there, exactly the same as yours too Ace
Happy Birthday Menace, have a good one Mate
No doubt you will love it Logan. As another one who went from a DRZ I can tell you the only problem might be getting used to the keeping the revs a little higher. I found I stalled mine quite a bit to start with trying to ride it in the lower revs the DRZ loved.
Bloody Hell mate, that was quick. How many k’s did you put on it?
Good stuff Chicken. No doubt you will get plenty of fun out of it mate.
I will ngive ths ride a miss guys. The girlfriend only has 2 days off while I am home and wants me to spend the day with her.
I will head out through the week instead on 1 or 2 days.Have fun
p.s.
I got the Coffs DVD Adam. ThanksI am sitting here at Changing Airport at the moment. I thought I would take the opportunity to pick up a cheap go pro duty free. Turns out I can buy cheaper at Harvey Norman. The silver is $468 sing dollars here ($405 aus) and Harvey has them for about $340 Aus. The black is $580 sing dollars ($502 Aus) not sure what Harvey has them going for though.
I could be up for this one, the only problem might be getting there. I may just have to ride down the freeway but it could be a bit nippy. I will let you know Saturday.

At least I have a bit of an excuse. It used to be only 3 years before you need an inspection, and it changed when mine hit it’s 4th year.
That’s my excuse anyway
I did the same thing with my DRZ once Tezza

Was only 32 so let four out.Sometimes you have to put that much pressure in to get the bead to seat properly, especially if you don’t use a lubricant. I would be looking to drop a bit more air out of too before hitting the trails, depending on how heavy your bike is I would be dropping to around the 20-24psi mark or less if the going is really slippery.
The first Nav ride this year I was running my old Tenere at around 28psi on the front and the front never felt right on the loose stuff, dropped it to 20 and it was much better
