It’s not polite to touch another mans “helmet” Eagle  :woohoo:
I test rode one at Kowen Forest a couple of nyears ago and it seemed a pretty decent bike. Mind you I was getting off the DRZ so most bikes would feel pretty good in the Kowen singles compared with that. The only thing I didn’t like was that it didn’t feel like it had any more power than the DRZ. I was riding it like a DRZ though keeping the revs low, these days I realise you need to run them in a higher rev range than a DRZ for best result.
Local service and parts would be a big thing for most people I would think, not sure where you even buy them from at the moment.
If your thinking of getting into a dealership it might be worth talking to Boony, he was looking into a KTM one for a while. I know they are different brands but he might have some insite into the pro’s and cons of it all.
Hi Nick,
The shock is pretty good but I haven’t been on it for a while now as I am working in Indonesia at the moment. The front end is still standard though which doesn’t really make for a balanced ride.
I will have to0 et that sorted when I finish over here but that wont be until late next year I think.Nice work and congratulations on your inauguration your highness. A worthy King indeed.

Hahahaha, checkmate.
Seriously though what is it you hope to achieve with the high guard? Is for looks or function. It would seem others such as TB have done it and found negative affects. As for looks I think the MX guard looks out of place on them.
There have been instances where the low front guard has clogged with mud or clay while riding and also of the mud causing the front wheel to lock up when the mud has come free after drying up causing accidents.
Just ask Ryan Dungey what happens when you loose your air at the start gate. It happened to him last season but with the rear shock.
Maybe the extra weight of a full sprocket will slow him down a bit for you Murph

And think of all the good you would be doing for the site. Your lap is already at $70 and if Jeffro moves his pledge across you will raise $120 for one lap on a postie in a polka dot jersey :woohoo:STM
OK done.
$50 for LC to do the lap.
I’ll put $50 on Dude for the 4th lap.
No worries Dude, your welcome mate.
Great report and pictures there JTB.
I reckon we may have ridden past your mate Nev’s property on one of the adventure rides before.
Some great items donated from some great supporters and sponsers and here I am stuck on the wrong side of the equator. I would love to be there but it looks like I may have to get in on the phone bidding.
Can we get a master list together, this thread is getting a bit long to keep up with it all?
Just as you said dmac, lay it on it’s side and pull the old one off and put the new one back on. Just be careful not to damage the gasket if you haven’t got a replacement.
Happy Birthday Greg, Have a good one mate.
