Will it need lowering?
I reckon you would go ok on either Rach but I don’t know that you could pick up BMW on your own, especially if carrying some gear.
I personally am looking to get a lighter bike than my old Tenere when I next update. Watching D-Rally take off on his KTM690 over the erosion mounds while I had to ease off to avoid getting too much air made me jealous on the previos nav ride.
No good Snowy. All the best for a speedy recovery mate.
Ahhh Moose, what a clanger
p.s. I know that old story Pete, luckily Moose is a much shorter name

True that, I had a couple of close calls on the last ride from doing just that.

Yeah mate, flat out. Flat out trying to fill in my 12 hours. At least on nights it’s easier to hide.
I will be back around late August early September for about a week. Spent half the night watching bikes on utube so would love to head out riding about now.
Whats this new venture Mick?
Good Morning Mick,

ha ill never run out of fuel again, trying to keep up with snowy and boony around the bush… 15.5ltr its not too bulky as I thought it was going to be..
I did the same with mine just before coming away. I used to hit reserve between 70 & 75km which is enough most times but I reckon I got back to the farm on fumes at the Bago Breakfast ride. I also took it up to Nundle at Easter and wasn’t game to explore too far for fear of getting a bit lost and running out of fuel.
I can’t say I noticed the extra weight with the bigger tank either.
