got me stuffed how rego can fall only 2 weeks apart for two different bikes.
Heard an idea a while back that you should be able to rego 1 number plate,
and swap it to bike your riding. Is not like you can ride two at the same time.

You could have paid 6 months on one to spread them out for next time.

    Sorry to hear Eag’s

I don’t want to get into a political debate but the anouncement of an election always stops investment. Investment generally also stops towards the end of each calender year and restarts at the start of the following year.

By calling a September election early in the year the governments has pretty much stopped investment in this country for a full year which is adding to the problems.

Mining companies are crying poor because they are only making billions instead of tens of billions and demanding a 20% discount on all services.

Hopefully next year things will pick up again.

    G’day Harold.

Not sure that we have any members up your way, the closest might be the Sunshine Coast.

I lived just down the road in Gladstone for a couple of years as a young fella and got my first bike there, an old Honda 90 step through that we used to take around the motocross track.

    Welcome to the site.

I am in Singapore today but getting on a ferry this arvo to head over to Batam Island, my home for the next 2 years (probably).

The temperature around here doesn’t vary a great deal, it is always around the 26 to 32°C range. I m not sure what the humidity is at the moment but I was sitting outside the Indonesian Embassy this morning at 8.30 and the sweat was dripping off me. When I was walking there and back it didn’t seem so bad, probably just that little bit of breeze created as I walked along was enough to make a difference so I guess that means I can’t stand still for too long while I am here.

    The view from my room.

Might have to wander down and take a dip later. (I hope Greenpeace isn’t around, they may try and save the big white whale
