Not wanting to argue with Trailraider but the WR250 is a pretty bulletproof bike and lower maintenance than a KTM or a Berg. The TTR is also low maintenance and reliable but probably a little heavier (at a guess).

Flying Fish has one that she uses as her adventure bike, Alyssa is another one of the ladies that rides one.

Any idea on ride distance? The WR only gets about 75km before reserve.

Seriously though, that sucks. What happened to it, is it just wear or some other failure?

I will have a look wen I get home tonight also. I know I had the planned route but not sure if I had the actual route tracking on for that ride.

My ute came through the other day @ $700, got on line and can get it for $490. Still a rip off but $210 is a big difference.

Thanks for posting the vid Jeffro, great to get an idea of what its like for those that have never been before.

That is some of the open stuff, there is plenty of single trail there as well.

    Mega530,

I was the first to finish the loop that day, only because I didn’t play on the other optional hill. Belray hill it might have been called.

A bit of creative scoring there I reckon Scotty

    250 – 300 = 2
    Never raced = 1
    Black Boots = 1
    Pants over boots = 1
    That’s 5 by my count or am I missing something :P :D

G’day Robbie, welcome to the site.

He’s from Armidale Mick, you should know how to use all the functions on here.

It’s a good ride with only one tricky hill on the North loop when I was there.

Very nice Polly. The biggest thing I found when I changed was getting used to keeping the revs a bit higher. When I first rode the Husaberg 550 I kept stalling it because I was riding it in the low rev range like the old DRZ, even now with the WR450 which I have been riding for over 12 months I find I still stall it quite often in tighter going for the same reason.

Actually he drove past us when we were having a feed at Oberon for the nav ride.

I use Truckwash CT18, hose off the excess mud, spray it on and leave it while I set up the water blaster.
