It’s one of those things I have been going to do since I got the bike but have never gotten around to

You blokes are too organised, my bike doesn’t even have footpegs on it at the moment. They are in a bag in the car with the extenders I need to weld on them so they don’t kill my feet in the first 2 hours

Jeez Lefty, that sounds like a lot of unnecessary work. You, your gear and the 6kg of extra fuel would still be 20kg lighter than the average bloke
Tech thread has one rule Jeffro

October 29, 2012 at 4:59 am in reply to: 2 day full Navigation ride 3rd and 4th of November from St Albans #231593What sort of distance are we looking at for day 2 TB? I am thiking of heading up through Mudgee to the Bylong Valley Way to Denman then maybe Commision Road, Yengo Wattagans and home.
Good luck with it Wolfie.
I ad follow up blood tests the other week after some bad results 6 months ago and guess what, things don’t get better by themselves.
I started doing all the right things after the results the first time but didn’t take long to slip back to bad habits. Things have gotten marginally worse as far as blood sugar levels and fat around the heart.
Time to start looking after ourselves, especially once you get past forty.

He was keen to get the Wauchopians organised (god knows they need it)
They now have pretty much all day to find their way to Edgeworth Maccas for 3pm meet time,,,
There are ample fuel opportunities just down the road from Maccas and they can refresh with a cool drink before the last dirt leg to St Albans.Strucky has also been instructed to keep them OUT OF THE PUB, otherwise we will never get them back on the road 😆 😆 😆
Pete & I will meet them there around 3.15 , then head south to pick up ACE at MT FALK RD then it`s game on :woohoo:
Think we will head thru St Albans to Wisemans to fuel up the bikes before settling in as well, fresh start on full tanks Sat morning thenWelcome to join us of course Jeffro (of course) if you are free for that time mate
I will see how I go on the day mate, If I get itchy feet I may head down a but earlier. Will give you a call and let you know if I am going to meet you somewhere. Thinking I will refuel at Freemans or Cooranbong before heading down, may even meet you guys at the corner at Settlers Road

Good stuff, I meant to ask about that.
As for the 300km range, I have got it the last 3 tanks withour reserve so unless this ride should be no different.
Yeh I’m the same Razzle. Walked in to a bike shop one day to get an oil filter and ended up spending $300 on a helmet. Next time I went for gloves and came out with $250 worth of riding gear.
