Scotty wrote:Nice vids Jeffro. It’s always fun exploring new trails. Did you use different setting on the gopro for the first vid it appears to have a different ratio to the second one.
Its interesting you used your Tough camera for second shots. I did the same thing today with my Nikon Aw 100 (Nikons answer to Olympus Tough series). I am editing vids now and will upload tomorrow.
It was the same settings when recording but after editing I just saved it (using windows live movie maker) for computer use instead of saving it for HD playback.

You didnt book saturday night by mistake did you?
TB
I didn’t see this post earlier, sounds like I may have asked for the 3rd instead of the 2nd. I will get onto it in the morning. I better check what I booked at the Kelso as well
I used the camera they gave me for use at work when I do my inspections
It’s an Olympus Tough, they are shock proof to a couple of meters for a drop and waterproof to about 10 meters.
I was really happy with the way I tied that section in together, it seemed to flow really well I thought.

Will let you know on the day.
EAGLE`02 wrote:Great Clip mate ,,,,Looks like you need Lantana Mans Bro up there for a day or two to help clear out some more growth
Thanks Eagle, thanks Aido.
I rode with just a Tshirt Friday and again on Sunday so I have skin off my arms from tree whipping as well as the fall so yeh, definately need to do some more trimming work. Even that first bit that I cleared has started to grow over again.
October 22, 2012 at 6:56 am in reply to: 2 day full Navigation ride 3rd and 4th of November from St Albans #231141Yeh I am happy to team with anyone. Camping Friday night but hoping to be home Sunday, I don’t work Monday so no big deal if I don’t get there though.
This one I did a while back, the first 2 minutes is different to the other video but the last 2 minutes is the same area but without any different camaera angles like the first one. No HD either.

October 22, 2012 at 1:20 am in reply to: 2 day full Navigation ride 3rd and 4th of November from St Albans #231116I’m booked for Saturday night, just need to sort Friday now.
So my ride didn’t go to plan.
I decided to just ride my local spot and work on some new sections. The new track was coming along we’ll until a front end lose due to a rut caused me to hit the deck hard. Wind knocked out of me and some very sore ribs being the resul so I laid there for a while getting my breath back.
Got back up, picked up the bike but couldn’t get it started, tried for 10 minutes then rang for a lift home.
Bike is in the shed and ribs are giving me he’ll, must be time for some painkillers in a can
Yeh mate still doing the 2 dayer
No Interest, No worries.
Will do my own thing, Ride cancelled

I need the 690 carted up as I have to tow my van up on the friday evening ,,,,
Needless to say, I would need the 690 returned to Newy as well :laugh:I am willing to throw in some $$$ to help with fuel if needed
????
I will cart it up and back for you Eagle. It’s the least I can do after binning it on your inaugural ride last year
Will sort something out closer to the date.
On another note, I had the front wheel off the WR today and thought I had better check the wheel bearings while I had it there. Checked the left side and it was a bit notchy but when I checked the right side I couldn’t even turn it.
New wheel bearings all round this weekend me thinks.
May pull the forks and shock out and get them serviced too ready for Coffs
