I could have forced mine to fit but was worried the guards would wear a hole in the tank

I was going to butcher the guards and attach them somehow just for protection from being peirced but never got around to it.

I have to 15L tank on my ’11 WR450 and had the same problem and in the end I left the guards off. The tank itself protects the radiators from fall damage so the only concern is something piercing them

HA HA Tezza. Showing your age there I think, haven’t heard anyone use Mega for a long time.

    Thanks Eags

Your right Adam, Jaycar do sell them (all sizes) but knowing what resistance and wattage is the big thing and unfortunately the markings on the old one are long gone. I will need to do some research to find out what is required including working out what brand the grip warmers are. Lucky winter is a fair way off.

Thanks mate. I will try Jaycar as I head back OS on Thursday morning. If they don’t have them I will try the others when I get back

A last video from me of the Saturday ride.

I am sure you will love it Craig, those bikes are fantastic I am reliably told and the rides themselves are terrific I can tell you from experience. The RideAdv boy will really look after you.

Great ride again thanks Murph, left totally knackered but happy with the day. I couldn’t make it to the end knowing that some of the worst was yet to come and I was really struggling even on the easier section by that time.
Thanks also to Adam for sweeping and those that helped me up when I needed it. Apart from Tims flat that luckily gave me a 20 minute break and a couple of drops and lay downs the ride flowed pretty well.

Great stuff Bol. One of these days I will get there.

Gday mate, welcome to the site. We have a few members from up your way around Wauchope and surrounding areas, I am sure Mi k will pipe up sooner rather than later. He is just getting over an achilles injury so an easy ride might be just what he is looking for.

I would look at the jetting as Nato said, try going back to your original jetting and see what happens. It is a free test to see if that is what caused it.
