Just looking at your list Jeffro and although I can’t speak for Minusone, I think he is currently sporting a badly broken leg.

    Thanks Scotty

    OK, new list.

    Jeffro (Saturday only)
    Pete the Wulf
    Wazzup
    DJ
    Adam
    Sam
    Rebore
    Kram?
    Corey?
    Needlemeyer
    [strike]Minusone[/strike]
    Kwistafa
    Holeshot
    Lotsa

Not sure who is camping, who needs space at my place and who is just meeting us there though so if you could all let me know who is doing what via PM that would be great.

I think the best thing is if we all meet at the servo at Lavis lane Saturday morning at 8.30am. Beach passes are available from there, bring proof of registration as the rangers will check if they are about. We can ride up to Anna Bay tavern for lunch and a refuel then have a play in the singles up that end before heading back down to Lavis lane.

I have been close to pulling the pin myself, with only getting 1 weekend off a fortnight and with going away on the last one, the jobs are building up around the place.

Still need to have some fun though so will still ride but maybe only half a day.

I have lost track of who is coming and who isn’t now, will have to sift through the thread and see. I can’t edit any of my previous posts either so will have to start a new list once I know who to put on it.

I had to laugh at one of the comments on this video. Some idiot wrote. ” I find this video difficult to masturbate to”

    faaaaaaaaaaaaaaark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that is a hard question to answer DC, “fully loaded” can vary from rider to rider and the weight will vary depending on what you are carrying. I think the best thing to do is load the bikes up and play around with the pressures to get enough spread on the bottom of the tyre without being able to easily squash the tyre to the rim.

I am no expert but unloaded you would probably look at around 14psi so maybe start around 20psi and see how you go from there. Make sure the rim lock is tight and maybe even consider adding a second one.

Dam wish I had known Jeffro. I went for a run up over the mountains today but would just as happily done a run the way you went home and back down through Saint Albans.

It was a fairly late start Scotty, I didn’t leave Blaxland until 11.30 or a bit later and got home a bit after 4 so you would have been heading home in the darl probably.

Picked the bike up from Lefty today and rode home from Blaxland via Windsor along the Putty Rd to Howes Valley then across Yengo NP to Wollembi, on to Cessnock,, Kurri Kurri and home, all up about 250ks.

As Lefty has siad earlier in this thread, the Carby is just worn out and there wasn’t much he could do with it which has resulted in idle issues. At times it idles at about 3200RPM which caused a few problems on some of the tighter turns coming through Yengo.

Other than that it ran beautifully and was a pleasure to ride, once again the road tyres caused a few anxious moments in the Yengo mud and sand but it was good, fun easy ride.

    Hey Jeffro,
Are we still go for the ride? and are the singles sand as i can get hold of a paddle tyre for a laugh but theres not much point if the singles are dirt!

At this stage Wazzup it is still on. I will make a final call once I know the dunes are open for businaess again. Last weekend access was to the beach area only.
