Geez Eagle, your having a bad run of late with offs, maybe you better give me the 690. I think it is the only safe option mate

too late rocket

Sorry, my bad. Says he is finished riding for the day.
Says on FB that he is home.
I haven’t ridden the KLE500 but from the look of it i don’t think it is much of a single trails bike.
Hard to say for me until I know if or where I will be working but more than likely it will only be the Saturday and Sunday rides.
Happy Birthday Rocket
I seem to recall that one of the forks on the berg always had pressure and the other side didn’t, not sure which side had the pressure though.
It looks ok to me Rocket
Happy Birthday Murph you Turkey gobbler

I was after a right hand side mirror for my DRZ, $145 from Suzuki. Told them not to worry about it and got some after market ones delivered for $32.
No electric start on the XR’s bender but by all account another great all rounder
I would go the DRZ if I were you Bender, they are probably one of the most versatile and bullet proof bikes you can get (imo). I have ridden mine in some pretty gnarly tight singles (including some nasty hill climbs) and belted down the frreway with out any fuss. Unless you are going for the extreme Erzberg style rides, you can run the same gearing for either single trail, fire trail and freeway speeds (plus a bit
)
Service intervals are every 5000km by the book though I do mine about every 2000km and change the filter as required. 15000km on it now and never had a problem except for some failed wheel bearings (my fault) and an electrical problem which was again my fault when I didn’t route the wires properly after fitting a steering dampener.
NickJ, Boulder and Krusty rode their DRZ’s to the failed Cameron Corner ride last year which included a hell of a lot of black top to get home after all the dirt roads were closed due to the rain. Not the most comforable bike for long hauls but more than capable and with an Airhawk seat that can be improved.Never happened for me, back when I was married, the bride would tell me that as I am not her father I wasn’t getting anything special. No wonder we’re not together anymore

That must be an English tradition
