Bol :woohoo:
That one that had you cackling early on the vid was a beauty, when I went through I saw it at face height and decided to stand up and just have it brush my arm instead. Problem was it was a lot thicker than I realised and near pushed me off the bike when I hit it.
That shine red stuff when we came out the other side had me nervous too, very reminiscent of the trail where I hurt my shoulder in January  :laugh:This next one is a tricky little up hill that doesn’t look as steep as it really is. When I moved back and watched some of the other blokes go up it looked almost vertical from back behind where the video starts. I was a bit worried but got up the hardest bit ok, it was only when I relaxed after getting past the steepest parts that I had a bit of trouble.

And the last before we headed back, it was nice to hear Bollocks cheering me on at the start. This one is again much steeper than it looks. One of the things I am most uncomfortable with when riding is heading across the face of a steep hill then having to turn sharply to point down the hill. I find it hard to make myself lean the bike down the hill and always end up trying to turn leaning to the outside of the corner.

Now if I could only get the few photos I have off my phone :angry:Ok, time for a few more videos. This time from the Saturday afternoon ride, unfortunately in the toughest going I didn’t think to turn the camera on.
This first one was just at the start so was a bit of a warm up, the trail itself wasn’t that difficult except that it was littered with tree branches often at bad angles to the track as well as a few logs and rocks to get over

The next 2 are some faster open trails, I thought I had a fairly decent pace going until someone shot past me like I was stopped  , you will see it towards the end of the second video.

How much for Hampton?
Looks better that way too Mick
The last 2 from Saturday morning, afternoon grade 3 videos to come.
This is the start of the first of the pine singles for the weekend. I chopped a few bits and pieces together for this video cutting out some of the hold ups
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiKO7OK2fvYNote the gold coloured water (either that or all the wild life pee in the same stream
) across the track in the early part
Here are a few videos from the run to the camp site.
Note the prime examples of Sunny Corner Loam in these first few
You will notice Ollie practicing kick starting the fiddy on the other side of the creek on this one.

Look for Bollocks getting cold wet feet after his bike died crosiing the creek.
Happy Birthday Moto and Dusty. I hope your have a speedy recovery Dusty.
Geez Murph your on the ball, that’s Lithgow Macca’s alright
I don’t think I congratulated you on the weekend mate so I will do it now.
I have no doubt that the work you put into the Coffs weekend is the reason you were voted as king, I know that was my reasoning.
The effort you put into that weekend was second to none, not just working out trails but also the courtesy bus and shuttling back and forth on it to ensure no-one missed out. The home brew (and probably the best I have tasted ) and trails snacks laid on and even to the extend of conning your old man into being the fuewl delivery driver. A top effort all round Scott. So with that I say congratulations your majesty
OBT of the year was anounced last night but the moderators want to make the announcement. He looked good with his “Crown” though, I’ll tell you that much. I got a prize for being a ride whore
Thanks for the update Galey, that is the old bull way, we always look after each other. Actually on the first OBT Birthday the group came across a fallen rider and his mate both unknown to the group. The guys stayed with him until the ambulance had taken him away and even retrieved his bike for him.
Lets hope his recovery is quick is quick and painless -
