Yeah I am with you Boulder!! That bike would suit Jeffro. Put a big tank on it and there would be no stopping him.

Hi Bull 400. Gotta love the XR400
Thanks for the intro and welcome.

Jeffro, I dont think Bull 400 was asking how to stay signed in. The heading needed a comma after “everyone” and it would have read better….

Yeh, Irealised tat a bit late :D

Welcome Bull, I haven’t done either rally so can’t comment on that although I have ridden the Watagans a number of times and there are some great trails. I have only ridden through Sunny Corner as part of a longer trip so can’t really compare the 2.
As far as staying signed in, there is a check box when you sign in that you click on to stay signed in, occasionally I find that I still have to sign back in but not very often.

Neither , just take a women and tell her its her responsibility to ensure you are lokked after in the manner your entitled to. PS, she should already know this and have your beer, uggies and dinner ready regardless if she has set up your tent or swag, then once she has done all that, she can sleep at the bottom of the bed to keep your feet warm.

This is a man who’s wife clearly does not read motorcycle forums :D :D :D

Swag is bigger to carry and you don’t have anywhere to sit out of the rian but is a quicker setup. I have the sleeping bag rolled up in the swag so you pretty muchjust roll it out and climb in. I have a swag which I used on the last birthday ride and didn’t even get into the sleeping bag, just had it unzipped and used as a blanket although this year may be a little colder..

I look like being out of work for a few months from the end of this month, I can’t see myself finding a job with my arm in a sling so at this stage I am also doubtful that I could make it.

I’m happy to do some sweeping duties too.

I was lucky enough to meet Mal on a couple of occasions and a true gentleman he certainly was. To his family and friends I offer my deepest condolences and take heart in the thought of him wheelying through the clouds.

Still looking at riding mate, will just have to control myself when we get to the testing sections. According to the Doc I will be in a sling for 6 weeks and recovery will take 3 to 6 months so I gotta ride while I can. Might sell both the bikes once the op is done and start fresh when I am healed with something new ;)
