If you think TB is scared of planes, wait until he is in a dark confined space!!!

Definitely out now, just got back from the specialist and I have torn the rotator cuff from the bone in my shoulder. Surgery on the 15th of June and even being the optimist that I am, I can’t see me being ready for this one.

Check the first post Krusty. Day 4 home around mid morning, lunch time at the latest.
No sure if I will make this one now. This job will finish at the end of this month and assuming I have found a new one. I don’t like my chances of getting time off in the first couple of weeks, I’ll try though. Then again I might still be relaxing between jobs at that time.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and half a century old!!!!!!!
I don’t carry too much in my bumbag, I carry the original bike toolkit in my backpack and just have a few extra items in the bumbag like a multi tool, tyre levers, t-bar and sockets and a couple of extra spanners. I was carrying a pair of vice grips as well but realise now that it has been brought up that I don’t have one in there now, not sure why but will put one back in. I also used to have cable ties stuffed under the cover of the bar pad but bit by bit I have used them all and need to remember to replace them.
I too lost a fender bag and so now carry a spare tube in my bumbag as weel which also acts as padding from some tools. I wear mine on the front as my gut helps hold it in place, when it is at the back i can feel it bouncing around on the rougher stuff and tsometimes it slips too low and I end up sitting on the edge of it.
Spare levers, metal putty, tyre repair kits and the like go in the backpack as well. And that reminds me, does anyone know where you can buy replacement plastic buckles or clips?

They are going like hot cakes, you better put one aside for me Scott, actually I will probably call tomorrow and order a couple of things.
Might have to get one of those tyre change thingies when I am down that way for the birthday bash, could matbe do with a new helmet as well.
G’day Vinnie and Welcome to the site
G’day Tony, Welcome to the site. See you on the trails.
There is a guy selling a set on e-bay that used t be a member here. They are alloy wheels though not spoked ones.
G’day Pez and welcome to the site.
Just been looking at you DRZ Project, being a DRZ man it is very interesting. You could always grab a set of Motard wheel for it as well.
