Went to Ben Bullin today. It was wet, but the trails were awesome. Had some clubman riders with me, and it took 7.5 hours to do a 65km loop. Had to ride some bikes up some hills a few times.

Actually it was a good loop. It must be noted that it was the same bike each time that you had to ride up. (Not mine either)

Obviously they just want the bike for parts…. The frame would be ditched once they strip it anyway I guess..

I’m pretty sure that the gaps were staggered too though if they weren’t it’d be quite a coincidence.

That picture you posted has piston clip grooves in it….
As for fitting a clip, use a fine pair of needle nose pliers and all is very easy… :cheer:

No to be a cynic TB – well ok, maybe I am! But after changing fifty billion flats I am pretty sure they recommend 18psi not to ensure you have a good ride so much as to prevent them spending time changing tyres. And there is nothing wrong with that. Hell, for most of their customers I would agree 100% with their theory.

Yep they don’t want the work, especially for bugger all… Not worth the hassle in the small amount of money they would make on a tube.. Easier to take money at the counter for more riding customers….

The owners of Louee only recommend 18psi because they change tubes for free.. It means less work for them..
