Well when you are sooting along at high speed (cant believe I typed that in a postie thread  ) It prevents all the problems that high guards suffer. It is something only me and my dakar racing brothers understand ;) Will throw more than one stubbie at you

    Nice ride report!

I note you’ve gone for the adventure spec. front guard (ducking out of the way of the empty stubby that you just threw at me!) :P

Tried embedding ( a nice OBT member would refer me to the tutorial that I can’t find), another skill I need to learn… here’s the link instead: Tip for new players be in your comfy chair with a nice drink!

Eags, I stood back and waited for your “FOUR WEEKS TO GO” warning… but I can’t stand by and let your lack of enthusiasm for this ride rob those who must have a count down

    So here it is…

In just four weeks or 28 days we should be kicking back doing some bench racing after a fine day of riding in the Kings private backyard adventure land.

    Sorry Eags :P

VOR wouldn’t carry a milk crate like the postie can…

Postie wouldn’t carve up the single like the VOR can…

You could put a low guard on it… and call it an adventure bike :P Though I hear that owning one is quite an adventure in itself! :pinch:

The high guard isn’t a sensitive issue  I just wasted money on it and don’t want others to feel the same.

Problem is I bought a guard BEFORE you told me it was a waste of time/money… so now I just have to fit it (maybe) ’cause I paid good cash for it! And it’s white, I can’t afford a white bike but a white guard I could handle!

I haven’t been an active participant on here for very long at all. In that time you have given me no end of assistance with things from buying a bike through to buying a GPS and how you wired it, not to mention help with maps etc and we won’t mention the high front guard as it’s a little sensitive ;)

But from where I stand you deserve the helmet and should accept it as a token of the appreciation by those who gave.

But you are a better man than I Gungadin! I’d be wearing that sucker at every chance, no way in hell my wife would negotiate displaying a helmet in the lounge room!

I’d pay money for a helmet as good as this…
