TIE DOWN HOOK???
Is that what it’s for? Bugger me…
Stay away from the pirates… they speak funny, and wear bandanna’s!
Oh and Strucky introduced himself to me and we had a good old chat in the rain at the bottom of Bellbird Hill… could have talked for hours but he had places to be… like home
“You wanna do this or not?”
Fark yeah!
Nice video Squiggle
!!
***WARNING BUCKY*** This video contains footage of actual SINGLE TRACK taken from an actual NAV ride… viewer discretion is advised.
Wow! What an awesome setup you blokes have… free helicopter rides as well as a GPS track! That’ll get the masses in for sure. :silly:
Hope he has ambulance cover, otherwise that could hurt the hip pocket more than the body! Hope you heal up quickly Lotsa!

Saw the yellow TEN (Steve from ADV moto???) and another bike on a trailer east bound on Bells Line of Road at Bilpin about 1.30pm. A couple of lone Ten’s just after that and turning right from Chifley Rd onto The Darling Causeway about 2’ish a BIG Ten and a Husky 650 Terrawhatever they are called… it was wet and cold.
Still a bad day riding is better than a good day at work!
Looking forward to reading all about this ride in the coming days!

Wife has OK’ed it! “When we win lotto…” she said. So I’m starting slowly. If we win lotto I’ll be buying a new paint job on a new bike, or three.
I thought it cost $250? Ooops… maybe that was with postage

They weren’t very fair out to start with so it’s not as bodgy as it sounds :SNow there’s some skills I can relate to… but my work is not bodgy, it’s highly unskilled

Now theres a keyboard warrior with skills
No way! That’s keyboard NINJA skills!
MarkR,
I am literally in the middle of doing that right now.
I bought a new current model WRF/YZF 450 UFO brand front guard off ebay for $35.
Took the tow hook off. I was hoping that by some miracle the holes would line up… and they don’t. From my fiddling thus far I will probably (possibly/maybe) move the guard slightly forward and space the rear DOWN so it doesn’t contact the radiator. I have a B&B rad guard on so lose some space due to that.
Here are some mock up shots I’ve taken with guard held by ONE bolt through WR original holes…
The plastic is very SOLID one of my mates has the $240 Touratech version and the plastic seems less sturdy than the UFO. The benefit of the Touratech is that it bolts straight on, no messing around with spacers and hole drilling.
When the job is done I WILL be taking the standard guard off…
6am transport up the tar to Capertee from sunny Lithgow brrrrrrrrrrrrr  , that’s hard core lunacy right there! But I wish I was doing it too…
