Now that needs celebrating…. going from L’s to P’s.
So now you have 1 year of the big red “P” on the back. You will make a good target. 👿
So what does “P” stand for again…….!!!

Wow… I’m so glad I went soft and pulled out. Couldn’t imagine trying to swim down some of those tracks on my bike, soaked to the bone then doing the 3hr driving home to clean the bike. Good on you for giving it a go and I love the photo’s. Hope to catch up for another Grade 2 ride down that way.

Picked up my bike this morning from Teknik. Mark (Evil Rudy) came into work to make sure I was happy with the outcome (thanks Mark). I was thrilled what Teknik’s did and I haven’t even had the opportunity to ride it yet…. the thrill was to be able to get on the bike and be able to put my tippy toes down (considering my feet were 60mm off the ground when I first got it). The 21l tank is awesome and the workmanship was a standout. Funny enough guess who turned up on their Tenere….TB……. so got to chew some fat over what mod’s are next for the bike….next stop will be Adventure Moto for some panniers….. Steve has been warned!!!
I just can’t believe the weather is yuk and I can’t give it a whirl. So got to spend the day in the garage working on the CRF…. I was pleased with myself… did oil change and replaced rear & front brakes and only had to “phone a friend” once … thanks TB….. on quick question about the piston’s on front brake… Its raining so hard here at Hornsby I haven’t been able to get the bike off the trailer nor take a photo… but will post one soon.

HI BJ tie-downs all sorted and have worked out the best way to hook them on so hopefully no more problems in that department… See you on the 20th.

Ha Ha Jeffro…. if the 60kg refers to my personal weight…. … I have you know that I’m down to 47kg so have more ability pack more on Helga… eat less but drink more…. thinking about it – it doesn’t sound good does it. Oh well. There is an upside.. I think…I just got to work it out.
Hi Bollocks,
I love your new mount ‘Herman’. I certainly fits his name.
I have a Helga which takes me on my road rides . Just got back from 3 days down the Snowy’s – 1400km and I was surprised at the number of men (other BMW riders) who come over and check her out. I packed the panniers full of camping equipment and red wine and she didn’t moan with the weight. I was able to open her up on some lonely back roads and she was just warming up at 140km/h. I hope one day to share an adventure ride with you just to see Herman in action. That’s if I can keep up :woohoo:
KatGirl….
Hi Tramo,
OK I think my flu will be well and truly established by Wednesday so count me in
. Looks like we have to pack a cake for the ride as well……. So 2 litres of fuel, rum and no room for the coke.. .. sounds like my kind of ride. I suspect if I’m sucking on the rum I could do Grade 4 and not feel the pain….. but would prefer Grade 2 whilst I’m still sober :side:
I’m up for early…. I’m awake from 3am most mornings so leaving early to meet you in colo early is workable.
KatGirl
Thanks Kram… I’m still celebrating the birthday with a weekend away on the road bike down the Snowy Mountains with my camping gear.
“does your bike have pillion pegs”……….. yes but hard to find someone willing to put up or keep up with me………..
