Do you have a part for a women????? lol…. only joking

I’m fit but ride like a girl …. I’m sensible being on the right side of 40 and get along with after few rum/cokes. I can’t play a d#*kheads, drunks, druggies, fully sic p*#s-ants etc. But have a bad sense of humour and ability to work as part of a team when I’m paid to do it.

Good luck in finding someone…….. sorry I needed a laugh tonight… and this response helped.

It seems Hatto hasn’t got to the bit where he decided to have an ‘OFF’. Perfectly placed in a mud hole. I think he came around a corner and thru the back brake on and did a controlled slide where the back wheel was inline with the front wheel then he did an uncontrolled plonk into a mud hole. It was very funny to see him bewildered that he had mud on his face….. I so wish I could have ridden faster so I could have had time to get a photo…… I only got to see him wipe the mess away..:P

Were they cheap tie downs Kat? I had the same result with a cheap set and now only use quality ones. I can’t remember the name but all the bike shops stock them and they are around $50.

Thanks Nickj… No that were good ones. I suspect the multiple corners in Kangaroo Valley caused the tiedown to rub on the other tracks and I think TB is right they rubbed and eventually broke…. so off to buy some more tiedowns and yes I’ll head to a bike shop and get some good quality ones…. I so don’t need that stress before a ride. I get enough stress doing the ride.

Thanks TB… good news is no damage to the bike…. only to my pride… but that’s ok. Nothing like learning the hard way.

The trailer got it’s first outing this weekend and oh boy did I learn lots…

Here is the photo of the bike on the trailer Friday night all ready to head to Nowra. I was very pleased with myself……:cheer:

    IMGP2839.jpg

This is a photo of the trailer after doing the 1st section of Kangaroo Valley (ie just before getting to the KV shops. It was 6.30am and raining….

    IMGP2841.jpg

    Oops…

Tried to get the bike up but didn’t stand a chance….. I did my best attempt of standing in the middle of the road and waving in my wet cloths trying to get help. It also helps to cry a bit tooooo. Two nice chaps helped me. Both tie’s must have worn through on the other tyre tracks and broke. The weekend of adventure has started and I haven’t got on the bike yet.

I hope this post has entertained you. Maybe I should have read aussie_king_mike link on towing guide.

Please no blonde statements  . At least I’m out there trying :S …. hard :pinch:

So my learnings for the weekend.
    1. Use different tie points on trailer
    2. Use different tie points on trailer
    3. Use different tie points on trailer

Takes 3 times for blonde’s to get it……. :woohoo:

Sounds like a perfect way to spend Valentine’s Day watching the program. ;)

    Can’t wait….

    Chris,

I just tried to link my profile information to my facebook page and it didn’t work. Have you tried it. I don’t know if its me or not……. could be me…… being blonde and all.

OK… been reading all the ‘boy’ banter and its put a smile on my dial.

    Here’s some advice from a girl’s perspective:

    1. Firstly it’s important for a relationship to have activities outside of your other half’s world. Everyone should have their ‘own’ time. It what makes the relationship interesting.
    2. You have to be true to your passion and not compromise it for anyone.
    3. Your passion should be a healthy one (if you know what I mean)
    4. You should understand/acknowledge your other half’s concerns and show how you can manage it as a win/win for both.

At the end of the day if she really loves you she will allow you to have your space to do your passion but always respect her concerns.

Kat.. (pay me later … ha ha)
