Katgirl…
Hi Owl 02..

Have fun and looking forward to seeing you out on the trails.

Wow… CEL and TB what a great write up and loved the photos.
What an experience and a fantastic way to learn.
Ok… been wanting to watch this video all week but been bit busy at work so I finally got to see it this morning. It was so good that I had to stop the George Clooney DVD so I could concentrate. I now understand what the wheel changer does… may need to get one of them.
Well I have my new tyres and HD tubes ready to put on the bike so I look forward to getting some more tools, working out how the get the tyre off the bike and giving it a go. Maybe its a good thing to do on a rainy day….
Thanks TB, Mal and Bill for the demo….
Now back to George Clooney mmmmmm :side:
Good luck with the healing Corey8.
Wheelchair’s are fun. I lived in one for a month after my knee accident. When I was feeling down I got my sister to take me to the beach and I found a hill that would gave me a thrill to ride down…. fast. Must admit the wheeling back up was hard but always found some guy to push it back up.
Use this time to work on brownie points with the wife…
keep smiling….
Happy Birthday STM,
Hope you have a wonderful day…
Just remember “The secret to staying young is to live honestly, eat slowly, and lie about your age.”

Eagle,
Ok… you have achieved the first big hurdle… confirming what the real damage is.
You need to prepare for the next hurdle… the operation.
DO your QUAD exercises.
Get your freezer ready to have lots of ice.
Do your research and/or speak to a physio now to ready yourself for both before and after the operation.
Buy large tube of anti-inflamatory cream.Best of luck… Katgirl… I feel your pain…
Hi David,
Welcome to the site. I think I ran into you up at Red Hill (Kulnura end of Orimbah State Forest) a few weekends ago when you were out with your son. I’m normally up that way hanging out with BMW Dave and the kids chasing them around the MX track.
Hope to see you out there,…. I’m not hard to identify… I’m the one with an Identity problem… Honda Bike, KTM pants and Yamaha cap…
Katgirl.
Hi STM,
Add me to the list….sounds like worthwhile investment in comfort.
Wow … that is fantastic news and one that has my support all the way.
Just think of one big advantage of doing this. You will ride so much better, faster than before and your lungs will be full of good clean air. The boys will have trouble keeping up with you.
If you need extra help … a friend of mine who has smoked same number of years as yourself tried hypnotherapy and had great success.
Just stay away from any motivator’s at the moment….
1 Grog
2 Sex
3 Coffee
4 Quiet times :S…. doesn’t sound like fun but as CEL said I’m sure it gets easier.
Finally made time to post up some photo’s..
Here is the B Group Photo opportunity… yes we actually took our time to experience the view…. well… … on this occasion we did:
Here is a photo of my RED BEAST up against a wall feature… doesn’t my bike look cute
Photo of Capertee fuel stop. The staff there were fantastic ensuring everyone was fuelled up and feed in reasonable time

Quote:Hey Kat, good luck with it, is the Boyfriend riding a Beemer or is he gunna do it on his XR650??No he has gone to the DARK side and hiring a 650 Dakar. No doubt he will be eating my dust/sand. The true red HONDA will be dancing in front of him. I’m sure he will let that happen as he likes seeing my arse wobble!!.. ha ha ha. :S
Can I join the run?
I’m crap at poker
I’m slow on the bike
But I can do fancy dress but my outfit is not suitable for riding in!!! :ohmy:If you are ok with that… then count me in.
