micknmeld wrote:I am looking for a few expressions of interest, from riders keen do some exploring West of Wauchope on the weekend of June 23-24.I have secured accommodation in an unfurnished 5 bedroom house (15kmโs from Wauchope) that has power and hot water, so youโll need a swag and your drinks etc. The House is on 300+ acres of bush, that backs onto the forest. From the back gate there are a heap of trails I want to spend some time in, linking them up for future reference. (Normally, if we ride out this far from Wauchope, we donโt have enough fuel or time to explore the area properly)
Numbers will be limited, so get in quick if you are keen.
The idea is to meet at the property early Saturday, ride Saturday, have a few social sips and a BBQ on Saturday night and if you are still keen head out again for a short blast on Sunday Morning.
(directions to the property will be sent to those attending)

Dunlop 606 rear, Michelin Baja rear, Dunlop 952 front (not legal but an awesome tyre) Dunlop 606 front, Dunlop Rally Raid 908 front ( expensive but the pick IMO due to better case etc) Michelin Desert Front, Michelin AC10 front

How many Klms are going to be doing? I was thinking it would be around 4500. I’m a little worried the 606 would go the distance and wasn’t planning on taking another.

Feeling like a change are STM
It does look nice for a Kato.

So are you putting on another 606?
I used a 606 last ride and I think I’d be lucky to 4000 klms out if it. I’m a bit concerned about a 606 making the distance.
As for the name, I’m sure one will become apparent on the trip. Puffin Billy might be an option
