Well I had a cracker of a ride.
Made it home at about 6.45 pm after another awsome day on the bike. And while I’m really glad to be home and missed my family heaps, I’d love to keep going for another day or two
A big thanks to all the good folk at Down Syndrome NSW and Pezz for all your work to make this a top event. I felt privileged to be apart and contribute in a small way to the event.
Top work TB and Steve from Adventure Moto for working out the route etc. Steve also went above and beyond in his support by donating heaps of fantastic prizes for the raffle draw.
Thanks heaps to Salina and TB for putting us up and feeding us all.
I had a great time sweeping with Boulder. It’s always tops riding with you and it was great to meet your better half. That’s not Fish by the way
Loved the ride with team OBT back to Sydney. We punched out some big hours along some fantastic tracks and it’s always a pleasure to ride with you blokes
More to come later when I can get thoughts together.

Jeepers I’d be mad to miss this ride.

Trailboss wrote:Nickj, Moose, Kram and myself are going to the Cape in July. Plan is to drive to Mackay in QLD and leave the car there. Head inland NW across QLD and up to Normanton in the Gulf. From there up to Musgrove Station and up to the tip. Back down through Cape Melville NP, Cooktown, the Lion Den, PJs and back down the coast a day or two at Airlie Beach. Did the cape in 2004 and cant wait to go back :woohoo: Two weeks :woohoo: A pub crawl of such I reckon :woohoo:TB
I’ve just spent the last hour looking at images from the areas we will be riding and I can’t wait to go on this ride.
It’s a ride I’ve wanted to do for 20 years and never had the right opportunity to do it.
Do we have to wait until July 👿 👿
Lets go :woohoo: :woohoo:

G’day Cressy
Mate there’s plenty of good riding in the area and good blokes to go with. If you weren’t a mate of Ollies I would have been happy to hook up for a ride
Definately get yourself along to Bulls if you can. You’ll meet a lot local riding folk all at the same time
Quite a few of us are also members of the Hastings Valley Motorcycle Club. It’s a good club and will be holding quite a few off road type events this year. Us old farts go in em for fun and bench racing afterwards. You’d be more than welcome to join us.
Give me a PM when you’ve go yourself settled and we’ll go for a blast.
