That is not going to be the case here in NSW’s. Only ADR compliant bike will be able to get Rec Rego. It will be a cheap way for those who have ADR bikes and don’t what to ride roads to register there bikes. It is yet to be seen yet how much cheaper it will be. Green slips have come down in price for the majority of dirt bikes over the past year with a changing of the capacity scale. From what CJ has said they are still lobbying to have motorcycle green slips reduced even further. If this happens the price difference between full Rego and Rec Rego could be even smaller.
I do giggle at those who go out and buy $13000+ dirtbike, go throw even more cash on aftermarket parts, performance bits and riding gear than complain that registration is making the sport too expensive.
That was my understanding, so what this is all about is example-ktm450 exc registered V’S ktm450 exc unregistered.
Rego component ktm 450 = 110.00 ride anywhere, any time
Rec Rego comp ktm 450 = 80.00 (vic) restricted to 45 daysIf this is right-whole shebang is a waste if time.
Lets concentrate on the greenslip component and all ride registered bikes-done dealhatto

They would be Krams wouldn’t they?
Yep. I decided to ditch them. They had Bad Ju-ju vibes and were taking up too much room.
If she likes them she can have them.
