F!@k!!! 140 odd acres of land and still the neighbours complain
What hope have we got.
Who’s lifestyle deserves more protection??????
People complain if the kids ride bikes. Then thay complain if they hang around together in the streets. Then they complain if they ride a skateboard. Then the complain…………
I agree with Boulder, WANKERS!

Quote:The Hill we call Rowan’s hill (behind Rowan’s property) always intimidates me, I have never made it all the way up on my first go. It is the big hill that caused a lot of grief on my birthday ride this year.It has two very ugly rutted sections on it,one at the bottom and one right at the top. On my birthday ride it took us the best part of an hour to get all 30 bikes up it. Those who where there, will remember Crash’s heroic attempts at it on his 650 only to get a meter or so from the top of the first section only to run out of fuel.
When I arrived at the bottom on my birthday ride (I was sweeping at the time) The hill was littered with riders and bikes going no where. It was one of the highlights of my riding career to tractor the XR up the first part of the hill on my first attempt (Only to crash further up the hill). There were blokes looking for an option to detour around it untill I tractored the pig up, then they watched 68 year old Allan ride up it on his first attempt, then pride took over and they all had a go at it, with varying degees of successhere are some of Murph’s photos of the hill.
Kram laying down on the job.On the renta thrasher Kato450.
I only crashed coz I was on a Kato
It is a mother of a hill but good fun. I’m not good at hills I feel like I need to be about 4 inches taller. It was worse when I had my wr 426. I could never start the bugger without being on the stand
Go the electric leg
Bring it on :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
It all looks tops STM
I’m bringing Kram’s Kastle and have booked a powered site
Kram

G’day STM
I think you better put me down for the Friday ride as well.
What time does it kick off and where are we meeting. I could probably look back at all the posts but I’m too lazy
Kram
Nice one Nickj I’ll keep and eye out for it.
Gotta love the banter and the mateship

Thanks Corey and Al for moving the start time so I could join in on this ride. I’m really glad I made it coz it was heaps of fun.
Al’s place backs straight onto Yarrahapinni mountain and although Corey and Al may not have ridden there for a while you could tell they knew the place like the back of their hands.
There was some really fun twins, great hills, beautiful valleys and creeks and fun tight singles. It was the workout my dodgy wrist really needed
I have to go back because there was one hill I gave up on and I need to have another crack at it. Corey and Al showed me, shamed me I should say  , by riding up it with ease. Both of them even had a go with my bike just to prove it wasn’t my bikes fault
The view from the top of the mountain was terrific, with a clear line of sight to the areas beaches and mountains to the west. Me and Corey cooled off in the breeze while Al went in search of his lost number plate.
The ride back down the mountain was just as fun as going up and after about three hours riding we were back at Al’s beautiful Organic Farm.
You blokes have gotta let me know when you’re going again because I’m there. It was a top ride and a lot of fun.
If Corey posts another ride there get on it you won’t regret it :woohoo: I’ll be there for sure.

Add me to the huge list of riders mate
I’ve got work under control so I’m in :woohoo:

Thats cool Kram just let me know.
I/we will be meeting at Biggerals place on Grassy head Road which backs onto the bush and be just a cruize ride. Been a few years to be honest since we have had a good ride through the mountain
No worries a cruize ride suits me at the moment. I’m just getting back into the saddle myself. I might bring another bloke with me if he doesn’t have to work.
Kram
Nice one Bol good to see you back in the saddle.
Looking forward to catching up with you in Coffs :woohoo: :woohoo:
Bring it on

Jeeper Maria   after reading this I feel the need to tell my side of the story and redeem myself
Contry to popular belief, I did throw a leg over a bike on the weekend. In fact I did a very hardcore 60klms to Mooses place in the pouring rain, howlin wind, tree branch dodgin, pissoff boony conditions  That was it for me the 848 was parked in Mooses shed until the return leg.
No sooner than I got my wet weather gear off, Mooses was thowing a cold ale down my neck and the plan was hatched to ute Burple and Me. Off to Mick’s we went convinced he would join us in our cunning plan, but the mayor was staunch. With a contemptuous wave of his hand our plan was dismissed. Mick got on the NX and Moose and Me headed for the Kramback pub to support him on his journey
On to the house boats and what a top place to get legless for the night :woohoo: The boys all rocked in in their wet weather gear and for a couple off minutes I almost wished I riden, but I got another beer and moved on  Lotsa and Mickp showed some common sense and turned up dry and the fun began. The pub dinner was great. The banter, well it’s always tops.
Next morning TB, Eags, Jeffo and Boulder got scared of a little rain and buggered off home like a rat out of an aquaduct before we even had breakfast. Hardcore. Pheww. I thought this was a three day drinking session…..I mean ride  Mick, had a litte trouble getting the NX to find it’s mojo the next morning, but that only gave Moose and Me the time to raid the fridges for the leftovers.
All that was left for me was to drive Moose’s ute home and think about the 60 klm to come on the 848
What a cracker of a weekend. Pity the soft C*#ks from the south couldn’t find the ticker to keep going :woohoo:
