That is a nice setup Dan for sure, those Andy Strapz bags are great mate but aren’t water proof ;)

The KLR is very cheap and will do the job they have a loyal following that they deserve. I looked but decided I wanted something with a little more zing no offence to anyone please. Something I could wheel with a bit more pace when on my own, a little more suspension travel etc I know with NX at time I feel I wiould like something a little more capable if youknow what I mean. Although may not be has comfortable as the KLR, V Strom and BMW.

That said I would buy a KTM 640 Adventure if they still made them, maybe a low mileage 2007 would sway me

I’ve had a pair of Bullpitt gloves for about three months and they are buggered. They’ve got holes between the thumb and fingers and are falling apart.

I have given them a bit of a hammering though and they are very comfortable and inexpensive.

    I’d give them another go.

After my recent dekarkle of 4 flats at Uralla I’m thinking about a new scorpian front and a mousse. I’ve never used a mousse before, just wondering what they feel like??

Normal mate I have been using them for about 5 years now and dont notice any difference expect no flats

Mal5.1 fitted a front mousse for the four day and never said he felt any difference

Keep them well lubed and I will show you how to cut and replace sections over time.

I noted that Medogrocket used the goo like Ollie uses in the four day and still got a flat :(

I need a new front tyre. What do people think of the Pirelli Scorpion fronts. I had one on the rear and liked it.

Tough Luck Mal and the Crew. I’ve been really enjoying reading about your efforts both before and during the event. At least you get to continue riding.

I’m still looking forward to hearing your thoughts about the whole experience after the dust has settled.

Have fun for the next couple of days ;) Well Done!
