Listening to Shine on you crazy diamond from the Wish You Were Here album still takes me back to that night ( minus the enhancing substances of course !!)Nick
Jeepers that was a blast from the past. I was right there with until the last line.
David Gilmore’s guitar still gives me goose bumps.

Either way I’m more than happy to sort it out for you with a refund or credit.
We ain’t planning on retiring early on tube fitting it must have been a stuff up.
Phone me tomorrow on 02 65836655 Rory Rock and ill fix up the price difference. We sell the following hd tubes:-
– Kenda tuff tube hd $30
– Bridgestone mh $35
– Bridgestone uh $45
Prices from memory for 18″.
I will double check with my service dept but I thought we where charging $20 to fit.
If you had mentioned you where obt the guys have been told to knock 10% off parts.Ps. Carton of beer to change a tube, unless you are buying them overseas as well that would be costing you about $35-40 per tube?
Can’t be fairer than that.
I live in the same area and buy from the same shops and have found them to be very fair and helpful.
The other day a plug on my wiring loom broke and I couldn’t start my bike. I rang my local bike shop and they didn’t have one in stock but they cut one off an old loom and gave it to me for free. Service with a capital S.
My son and daughter also ride and this same shop recently donated gift vouchers, prizes and give-away stuff for kids who participated in the race series. I haven’t seen too many O/S shops giving my kids any support.
Motorcycling is an expensive sport and I think most of us have to do the best we can with the money we have. Sometimes that may mean shopping around or even overseas. But if you want local business to support local riders then its a no brainer.
If you were unhappy at the time why not talk to them ?????
