I have time to think as I make my long journey home. What drives these tribes together? Is it the thrill of the hunt? Is it a chance to reacquaint old tribal friendships? Is it a chance to meet new tribes and their members? A chance for someone to be a part of something whole with a positive spirit ? I believe it could be all these things and many more. There is much more to a good tribe other than being able to throw a spear well. I saw all of this on my trip to Sunny Corner Island and I hope one day to return……
    The End :woohoo:

    Your awesome Bol!! Well Said………

After arriving early Friday and setting up camp I was informed of the cancellation.. Seeing how I already set-up camp and having a free pass out I figured I’d stay and camp..

Saturday morning I decide to ride into the forest myself.. Shortly there after I came across some other riders and asked if I could follow them as being out on your own could be quite dangerous. I ended up having a great time and the area is an awesome place to ride and camp.

Thanks to all the local campers who provided much entertainment through out the weekend…

Can’t wait to go back and ride the area again.

    Cheers…

    Happy Birthday OBT!!!!!

Its been 2 years for me. I joined just before the 2nd Birthday ride at Sofala and it was my first of many OBT rides….

I most likely would have never seen what I’ve seen, travelled where I’ve travelled, met the various types of people met nor challenged as I have been challenged on an off ride motorcycle…..

Thanks to all involved with keeping this site going and a special thanks to Chris72a as I fully understand what it really takes to operate and maintain a site like this in the background as I work in the industry…

Finally a decent interface!!! Love it Chris!!!!

About time… Never understood the stickers…

I wonder if the rego cost will now drop since they don’t have to spend money printing stickers anymore… hahaha yeah right…

Medogrocket and I have decided to do two different styles of rides.

Mal5.1’s group will be a kind of introduction to grade 3. The terrain will be grade 3 with a fair bit of fire trail, a few hill challenges but will be aimed at the less experienced riders that want to try a bit more technical stuff. I’ll ask the more experienced riders in this group to help, encourage and offer advice to the less experienced riders so that they enjoy the ride as well. And my group will be riding off at a more respectable time of 9am ish. There is still frost at 10am around here.

The video looks real good Mal.. Will your afternoon loop be the same or a bit more technical than the morning? I’m thinking maybe more technical grade 3 in morning and the toned down grade 3 in the avo… Hmm.. Decisions.. B)

Added Front Michelin Mousse Tube to the stock Metzler 6 Day Enduro Extreme.

Installed the KTM Radiator Fan. Worked well and has no problems fitting with the Force Radiator Guards.

I’ll install a new Michelin M12 with a Michelin Ultra Heavy Duty Tube just before for the B-Day Ride.

    She is sitting on 304k’s and 8.7 hours…….. B)

Bought a Michelin Mousse and set out to fit it on the front today. It was pretty easy and I did it with 3 tyre levers. Got some quick advise from TB and then got stuck into it. Took me longer to lube the inside of the tyre and the tube than it did to fit. I was pretty amazed.

    I be a happy camper… Can’t wait to try it out……
