KTM01 is right Michelin ultra heavy duty tubes are the go, one better is mousse tubes, if not the back at least the front, prevents dented front rims also.
I use Michelin ultras in my rear if I am doing high speed stuff as rear mousses over heat and collapse and I haven’t had a flat in years and years.TB
Dont think I would ever use a mousse, I seen a guy that was riding with us all day go through a creek crossing and the mousse must of contracted, the bead let go and he was stuck in the creek as the rim was spinning inside the tyre.

Does it fill the tube with a foam like substance that blocks the hole, never used the stuff, did it make it hard to replace the tube as it went solid. How big is the can to carry?
When I buy a new bike I get the tyres replaced with Michelins and the tubes replaced with extra extra heavy duty tubes they are a prick to replace tyres with but in all my years I have never had a flat, I use my CO2 bottles and patches on my mates bikes.KTM01

Usually ride NTH NSW and also Kenilworth areas etc. Be careful riding in the pine plantations at Logan. Usually cops a police blitz a few tims a year and is also the favourite haunt of flanny wearing MX bike riders doing a zillion klm/h around blind corners.Funny you say that, the guy in the creek was wearing a footy gersy, riding a MX bike and had no tools with him, the blind corners do worry me a lot so I am very careful.
Do any riding in the border rangers? I am keen to get there for a look.

I never had to fit brgs to that XR.
Do XR;s have suspension the one’s I’ve riden and owned had something but not suspension:woohoo:

G’day from KTM01.
I’m the new Queenslander that moved up from Coffs. We’ll have to hook up for a ride.
I have just been for a ride around Logan Village and Tamborine area for the last three hours as it is at the end of my street, not Coffs but alright, came across one guy that had drownd his KX250 in a creek crossing  , there is a few big rocky hills in there.
Where do you ride up here?Cheers
Theiving bastards!!!!!!!!!!
At least they know what is the best!
Boys! always slaging KTM’s, I think that all of you have an inferior complex, there is trained people out there that can help you deal with it, it probably comes from being passed by so many KTM riders.
Keep your chins up guys.boulder wrote:

I think most dirt bikes that go missing end up on farms or broken up for parts. The sad part is that the cops tell you that they are to easy to part out!! They just dont have the time or the staff to chase it up. :angry:The missus was shopping at the local centre about six weeks ago and which is on a main highway and come out to see two guys standing there in there bike gear missing there touring bikes, they went into the pub for a counter lunch and lost everything.
Its happening everyday to some one, unfortunately.KTM01

The thing that really pisses me off is that people are buying them, so the circle continues. I have three bikes in the stable these days and YES one is a XR and if they where stolen I would be F@@@@@@@RRRRRKKKKED.
Some one know’s these thieving bastards and does’nt say anything.KTM01
Went into new KTM dealer at springwood and got a price on a 09 450 EXC today and checked out the new Berg, yes it does look sh#t hot, fuel injection, half the fuel tank under the seat for better weight distribution, if I did’nt have orange blood I would buy one!

Welcome Dave, hows things in the land of the long white cloud. Hows the trail riding over there, dont get sick of dodging sheep all day.
