Mr Rat you are on fire  are you feeling mighty and strong with your KTM brethren on side?

I would say when TB gets back on to OBT he will respond to your outlandish comments and accusations  with gusto. I am looking forward to it :woohoo:

So am I , that is one of the reasons for doing it, the other is because the Kato is just a better package for riding, not like the Honda that are good for the reminiscing about yesteryear ….still on the ball I am, Bring you Deity on Dan :P :P :P

Dinosaurs?? The XR’s will still be going strong when all those flash Katos are dead and buried I would dare to say.
XR’s are a fine example of over engineering. Good luck with your recommended 70hr rebuilds.

Rubbish Mick you will get 3000 hours with your dino-bike, did you really expect it to wear out when it only makes 2 HP and 1/2 ftlb of torque and 800 rpm is redline :P :P :P :P :P

    I am on fire here :P :P :P

This is a totally uneducated guess and I have nothing really to back my statement up but:

Maybe more KTM’s are winning cause there is more of them around to what there used to be, back in the day when Jap bikes where mainstream and Euro’s where exotic

Why Euro’s are becomming more mainstream now I dont know, good marketing, people wanting to stand out in the crowd (although not really the case now given this thread) or “god forbid” are the Europeans just building good and possibly better bikes these days?

Yep you were right wingman of TB (about the uneducated bit :P :P )

but I need to ask something of the Honda God lover, if they were selling more KTM’s then you would have to say they are popular for some reason , and also the thing I find real amusing is the sales figures indicate that the Honda’s are up there with the most sold so what’s the go there…why are they one of the biggest seller’s yet the worst performers….maybe they SUCK as a competitive bike now because the rest have gone forwards not stagnated on the 80’s glory days…..
also with the same line of deduction, the Kato still sells not as many of the machines as the others but beats them all with results …… less competitors and better results, no wonder people are leaving the others and going orange

hang on a minute, I know all the winners are X honda riders, so when they have ridden such a woeful bike for so many years its no wonder they win when they get on a bike that does stop and turn :P :P :P :) :) :)

What have I been saying for years, and Moto you ride one, are you surprised by the world catching on to the easier bike ride and to get results on

I find the silence of some all I need to laugh more

Ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha Ha ha ha ha ha

come on Moto we all know the hondas are the only bike to ride….. if you want to go real slow for a long time, the Honda boys will die out just like the dinosaurs did and wont it be fun going through the fossils that are left….no hang on there fossils now, just with silly riders in denial….

Ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha Ha ha ha ha ha Ha Ha ha ha ha ha

    that should get a bite

All good points and I might add for tar work
distances at speed are sometimes deceptive so be aware
    and
braking in the wheel marks in the lanes is essential , this is to avoid the oil drips in the center of the lane, this is most dangerous coming up to intersections as cars are slowing down and the drips are more numerous….I still have a sore elbow from this lesson learned 25 years ago…… at Stacey street Bankstown,…..sat 10 am, two up RD400, on the limit,…. now that is a different story….. :)

Kylie dont remove any of the original foam just add to it with a softer grade and more than likely the original cover wont work as they are usually trimmed to suit the seat and once removed can be a little difficult to get back into the original placement…..I have done all mine and my boys and with a heat gun and patience it can be done….dont glue the foam to the skin if you use glue….good luck and we have a choice trimmer up here in our MX club who would do it quick I am sure….ask Mick to speak to Lamby for you
