Hey TB I could not get the link to work, what did it say??
Well my user name is really quite simple
I ride a KTM……..and need I explain the rest
Happy Birthday Petal , hope you aren’t aching too much…I need your help at the track this week digging holes
Yes I will let you know as soon as I know more TB.
KTM Mini bike King, I dont know about that, obsessive when it comes to power, well ….Yes totally…..
and in the 50 and 65 market the KTM’s are at the top of the power stakes(Cobra’s are biting at the heels of the 50 though)
Me going off half cocked…..Nah, whats the matter with shoot first and ask questions later(note to self…dont touch guns), I have been known to get excited around the mouth area
Kieran will be ripping it around again soon
RAT
I agree %200 with TB , Get one Mate, your neck is worth it
Quick report on day 1 of Puds birthday adventure, sure more will follow, a great day had by god knows how many bikes in total, I was not riding so spent some time on the tractor slashing in the a thumper track beside the flack track that has been constructed in the last several weeks, the day was going well until the birthday boy decided to try out how hard the ground was with his head, after going into a hole that swallowed the front end, I knew he was hurt when he didnt keep standing but decided to lay down for a bit, all is well now with ya fat head puds, and the star of the day has to be Lil-Puds, he has taken to that new bike like a duck to water.
The dust was really thick in places and was making the air filter oil suppliers rich, my two went through 18 liters today, and will be back for more tomorrow, more laterECKS-Man wrote:
Quote:Dave you have taken my comments a bit wrong mate, I was trying to work out what was going on. My post was really more of a comment on the serverity of TB’s reaction, and you will notice the use of question marks? That means I was asking the question. No problem though, I will back out of the room and leave you gentlemen to your spat!
ECKS-Man, my bad I did not see that, I get real upset at unrealistic expectations, you do not need to back out of any discussion , you have the right to voicing opinion like us all, Sorry again Mate no hard feelings
TB in other threads you have said I am confussed so set me straight here,
TB How many hours did you expect out of the MA , now that it has been established that 50 gazillion hours were put on by Mick and it was secondhand when he started…..and you are dirty at this??….Just checking, I know your paranoia about orange, and I understand it because I am the same with Green and yellow, the blue and red I tolerate, just,
So to recap you are upset that the main bearing went after all these hours of power display, I still recall your story about some fancy racer at one of the ride parks that Kieran Blew away continually and the Dad got the shits and packed up and went home, Oh thats right you never mention the good, So answer me this , whats the expectation you have of these, to go forever on one set of bearings,
I wonder if there was another 50cc make out there that put out the power the KTM did, would it last as long, it never ceases to amaze me that so called mechanically literate people dont have a firm grasp on mechanical cause and effect, you get nothing for nothing my friend, You expect (at least by your reactions it looks as if you expect full new performance with the second hand half sized price tagI cannot afford to buy new bikes for my to little racers, so second hand is the only option, when you have not been the one to service from the beginning you never know.
As far as the 85 goes, How come I only just find out now about the problem, dont forget Mate, I have only spoken over the phone with this one, I have not seen it at all, I am only saying seal from what you describe, How many second hand bikes are sold with the type of Backup I provide, None, I have even been told by some, “its second hand they are paying half price for it so the thing is worn, thats why the cheaper price, why are you giving it full price support when you didnt get full price”
Also as far as ECKS-Man saying
Bloody hell, that’s saying something!
Not without reason I’d reckon. Definately bike faults TB, obviously?
How many of these KTM 50 have you owned or been involved with, dont say stuff with out knowing you look as stupid as the person you are trying to suck up to, “Bike faults” what a crock of shit, go to any 50cc race in the country and the KTM’s are dominant, why because they cant be beaten, and they get big hours with the right treatment, and TB before you get on you high horse, the thing got the right treatment from you I am sure , but a worn out bearing will still fail with the right treatment when its expiry date is done.
So answer me
What did you expect TB and
was it realistic,
Take the “I love Honda/I hate KTM” glasses off and look at it impartially if you canHey Mick have you any idea how many hours were on it when TB got it from you ?
TB how many hours were on the bike when you got it, and how many did you do?

I am only saying what everyone else is thinking.
I could see the advantantage if you live in Sydney and were a metrosexual / homosexual for riding down to the Cafe to get your latte. But in Newcastle nah.
I am sorry if I have offended anyone but that is my opinion.
And by the way pies are great – just to keep on topic.
Real men ride bikes not scooters

Quote:Wow that’s out of character for those motors TB, Friday arvo special? Not really Blue, I have hyped it somewhat and when you extract extra ponies you really should start with a fresh bottom, this was not done at the time for whatever reasons and the thing has been flying up till now, if we expected the RPM out of other machines that these do they would wear out at the same rate, Horses for courses I say, the bottom end of these babies are a piece of piss anyway, it will be a fresh baby for who ever gets it off TB and I will also be de-tuning the thing back to standard so the next person gets mild power to start with,
will keep you posted TB

I walk around confused according to some, I just think everyone else is on the wrong page
TB it was one of you honda riders that told me you were to pissed, same honda rider told me that you didnt even look at it, after the call this morning from you I find out he was to smashed to see you working in the corner, no I know he had the honda filters on….he couldnt see you working on the Kato rim…thats it, Seriously TB I did not even know about the loose spokes that wheel is our hard pack/spare rim and gets used occasionally because we dont race hard pack tracks too much, sorry mate my BadThe school dates were taken out of my hands by the Hastings club as discussed that night and you and I both know we were as upset by it as the kids were, (if not a little more, well me anyways)
The 85 seal, bummer what do you want to do to fix that one, as you know I stand by anything that I sell(even if it was sold way below market value) I will avail myself any way I can to help here.
Ohh just to keep Mick happy I had better mention Flay tracking at Moose’s…….
It looked like fun!!!!…There you go Mick….no jacking a thread here Mate….see you on the weekend

Sure we could talk about how you wouldnt come by two days later to do it because it didnt suit you, I am sure the kids would have loved to still do it, oh and we could also talk about you pleading with me to fix your bike, or we could talk about you hassling the shit out of me for a rim change that you got too drunk to do , thats if you want to BIG MAN, the list goes on if you want me to start

Fester you knob, I was going crook at my eldest boy in the blue riding gear  And I dont like my picture being taken when I know stalkers like you are on the net looking at me
TB
I figured out why you don’t look happy in this photo TB. Your young bloke refused to wear his matching Red Polka Dot riding gear because he didn’t want to cop all the mini TB ribbing, and that makes you unhappy.
Lets make it an unofficial caption thinghy anyways Fester…..
I think he was saying
“Oh no way this thing handles better than my Honda….it even feels and looks right!!!!!” -
