Quote:I would like some advice as to which body armour to purchase.I do like the alpinestars bionic and the 661 pro body pressure suits. Both are simmilarly priced but I am unsure which to choose. I have tried both on for fit and comfort and I still am unsure which one to purchase.
Or are there other body armour manufactures that I should also be considering.
Any comments and views would be appreciated.
Thanks

Glenn,
Hi Bud,
The only way to go if you want serious spinal protection is the top of the line Dianese, I think its called the “Wave” this is the only back protector out there with a aluminum honeycombed crush zone section, and I can talk of personal experience, I hit a tree and broke vertebrae as well as rupturing disks, I will show you the crushed aluminum section that came out of the broken back protector and it is the sole reason I still walk and ride today, They are expensive , for sure, but what price is your spine worth, save longer and get what you pay for,
Good Luck

Quote:Hey Guys, what da ya reckon I’d get for my stock set of rims/hubs etc, wr250 08 model, done about 1200kms on them couple of scratches no dents or damage. Depending on what I could get for these I might go the Sutto Deal.Cheers
Chris.Chris keep them for wet tyre set up and run the new ones with dry tyre set up, that way you can have the best of both worlds, the wheel deal is great, I wished I could get a set, but the last time I went looking for a set of wheels, I came home with two new bikes(that was only 3 weeks ago), I dont think the wife will tolerate me saying I am looking at a set of wheels again:)
Great stuff Mick, this will help out a lot of other XR owners out there…..
How did you take the photos one handed and I loved the placement of the Old Bulls sticker in the background:laugh:
I have been looking around at rims tonight and I can tell you this deal will not be beaten:)
