Well thanks Guys again, I wanted to say what a choice day I had, Thanks for all the wishes, and here is a short reply to each,

Mick, Yes mate I did indeed spend the day with the chilluns, and didnt we have fun, Taylor blew me away in that start stop race , one time there she almost had them whipped.

I would look at both components of the ignition timing. I am not too familiar with the 01 yammi, but with a few machines over the years I have owned and worked on had rotors slip on their keyways and the timing is no good past 60- 80 rpm (which is kick speed at the start of the kick) so the thing would fire once and die, just remember the stator is only half of the spark timing, just a thought, good luck
Mate stick with the vertex piston the teflon coating is worth HP, and longevity, also the wiseco are not controlled as well in their Manufacture, I have over the years had issues with the skirts breaking off as well as ring landings and both incidents end in catastrophic failure, thats why there is a price difference between wiseco and vertex
