    Never Happened on a KTM………Had it happen years ago on an old Yamaha IT 250K 1981, and it was a bugger, I did not want to use the controls:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
    Funny though never happened on a KTM….did I already say that?

    I got a set of cheap pliers off ebay years ago and the cutting part screwed up in the first six months, but the swivel and clamping parts still work fine, and for the $20 I paid years ago its good value, I just use side cutters to cut the wire now and its all good, I think I have about 50 years left in the pliers yet:laugh: :laugh:

    Yeah I tried that TB but they thought I was a bit extreme at the races, so now we just use speed tape on the hands…..they were right the tie wire could cut into them I suppose:huh:

    I lock tie everything on the race bikes and I only use the proper .032″ Safety tie wire, Mig wire is to brittle and you cannot get the tension right without it breaking, the tie wire pliers are worth their weight in gold if you are planning to use them on more than one bike and we race four so it was worth it to me, you can get real cheapies from ebay.:) Try this http://www.parrmotorsports.com thats what is written on the roll I have

    I know I said I did some measurements of Betty, well I just checked (TB thanks for the shots of the motor) and it appears as if I was wrong, I think I can throw two in, so who do I send the cheque to??
