Show me how to ride within ones self and all will be good:laugh:
Yes TB that was me saying that about racing verses riding, and thats why I said “ride” and not race….here’s the funny part, if I were to just ride it, I still wont be able to walk the next day
Wait till our Ambo Bruce finds out I intend to ride, he knows me very well and we have done thousands of KM’s together, so he knows to get extra supplies:laugh:
TB I know what my biggest problem is…..My throttle control…..or lack there of:laugh:
I have to be honest I crashed and burned almost always, I suffer from Devon Heads dilemma, Helmet on….Brains Gone

Member for 20 years? , cant seem to remember you there too much in the early days.
Last race for me was at Buladelah then Mollies, also the hill climb out at Kindee, also 2 Nulla Nulla rides, did some NSW sprints at Buladelah Harvey Chook Farm. Enduros at Cessnock, Inverell, Mx at Coffs, Ballina…….Blah Blah Blah….I do seam to recall a certain lead rider on a blue machine that the TTR flat tyre and all could round up…..but thats another story. So Mick and X , you are right you have not seen me Race cause I gave it up whilst you two were learning how to ride:P

Quote:The problem I believe is that the coolant exits from the r/h front of the cylinder head and there is a large exhaust port blocking the coolant path around the l/h side of the head and this causes a hot spot around l/h exhaust valve which causes core shift and moves the inlet boss off centre and causes the valve to scrape on the valve seat and wear itself out faster
this is just my theory
I have some very simple and cheap ways to test thisNo how many people will I have to kill , Bull the words will blow their minds
Same as before mate, we dont race these events any more we ride them

Mick except for big KTMbull last year, he did 9 laps, with me kicking his butt the last three, in between buckets of water every lap.
All 3 iron men from last year, I will ask them;)
TB when you say you raced in all those big races and still went to work the next day????… I am confused.
Let me explainRacing to me (and a lot of others) is putting 110% effort into coming first, I mean after all the pre race efforts of training and bike development and mental preparation, you would expect to come first because you were planning for it, so racing is wanting to come first, and I am sure I am not alone in this opinion.
To be saying after racing these events you still went to work the next day, then how much of that 110% did you give, all of it or were you saving some for work the next day, Mate dont get me wrong I am not saying that some of the huge km’s you have done are not easy, and sometimes its a gold medal effort just to finish some races….Erzberg competitors would know this feeling, thats for sure.
So to be fair and accurate you would have to say that you rode in these event’s not raced them , and thats cool as well, how many of us can say we rode a A4DE, and then how many of that special group can say they RACED it, not many would you not agree, and I say that if you rode the Pony Express you will work the next day, ……but if you RACED it no way will your fitness levels(or mine) allow you to work the following day, there is no rest on the entire track mate, it is choice, and by half time the ruts are mind blowing, bike swallowing…. cool bananas, I hope I can ride the day, at least I will be able to sweep ride and I will match you one lap for one if my duties allow, wont you be lucky as a sweep rider is not allowed to pass a competitor.
