Dave, I’ll try and keep my mind open to it, and if Bill wants to throw me one I promise I’ll do a back to back test and report honestly on the results.

    The facts are though:

1.BP, Shell, Exxonmobil and the like do not use this technology. TB stated that in his case that using the technology if worked would save millions of dollars a year. If BP/Shell/Exxonmobil used this technology it would save billions per DAY.

    2. The big oil/petrol producers spend billions of doolars each year and employ some of the best and respected names in the world in the name of R&D to develop new and cleaner fuels. Yet through a basic catalytic reaction you can get more power, better fuel econmy AND lower emissions??

    3. Most goverments in the devloped world have whole institutes dedicated to developing the new technology and none of them have thought of a simple catalytic reaction?

    4. I work for a combustion company that spends lots of money each year trying to produce selective catalytic reactors (SCR) specifcally to reduce the consumption of petrol/diesel for marine and power based technologies. They have been in the game for almost 100 years and can’t do what this one tablet or whatever it is does.

    4. I didn’t previously know the name of the product as I don’t look for these things. It’s no different to at least 5 others I have seen before. I did go and look at their website and read their claims and found no real evidence or anything of substance to support what they are claiming. I have used an ‘engine pill’ in a car when I was younger and can confirm it did nothing.

    5. There are heaps of these companies making the same claims that are just a load of BS. One famous example in Australia was taken to court over it.

    6. :P

Moto I am real cynical with these big companies that are dominated by the bottom line of a ledger, do you think they will reduce consumption therefore profits for anything, i am just paranoid enough to say they infect us with the propaganda to keep their ledgers in the right colour

I wouldn’t waste your money on those products, they don’t do anything. I looked up Fitch as I haven’t heard of them before (there are plenty others like them) and read their claims.

Improves fuel economy, improves combustion, reduces emmissions, helps your engine and lasts longer than the life of your car. WOW!! It’s amazing that the fuel companies, power stations, refineries, chemical plants, top end motorsport and whatever else don’t use this product.

With the current pressure everywhere on reducing your ‘carbon footprint’ and improving efficiency and peformance with new based fuels (LPG, Biofuel) it’s amazing they missed this awesome technology. Maybe we should should tell BP and Shell that if they just put a heap of these ‘fuel catalysts’ into the primary cracking stream where the petrol is produced they can make a much better fuel.

Sorry for the sarcastic response, but these ‘gimmicks’ have been around for ages and don’t do anything. Also, XR400’s and XR6’s are designed to use the low grade pump fuel (as sold in Australia) so if they pinged before your ‘fuel catalyst’ was put in then there was already some problem.

Moto, I have had a few of these in my machines and I can tell you they do have an effect, the where and why is debatable but the results on the twist of the throttle is all I care about, and with the fun tablet in the fuel i get between 10-25 kms per tank more fun, and thats a fact, with Betty’s state of tune I was really effected by different fuels, and with the thing in the tank i dont give a f#ck what ron fuel i throw in her, i was like you before i actually tried it and all i can say is dont knock it until you have at least tried it, by your own admission you did not even know the brand of the thing, and there is a classic saying….
Condemnation with out investigation is the height of arrogance…look into it and then blow away the sellers of snake oils….
please dont get me wrong, i am not saying you are arrogant, just keep your intelligence open, Bill talked to me about these things for months before I would even try one, and I eventually tried it and could not believe the difference, i now have one in every tank in every bike and in every jerry can, i will not run shit fuel you buy at the pump with out it , the only fuels i have not noticed any difference in with the catalysts is the special blends i get occasionally from my drag race mates…look into it…bill will more than likely throw one at you to try it out
