    Hi Steve

since i snapped the original bolts off i have replaced them with 80,000psi ARP bolts, which were originally designed for bolting together a chrysler V8, and i havent had any problems. Although i had to use a die grinder to get one of the snapped off bolts out and it ellongated the hole, so i put the bolt right through and put a nut on the other side. The peg bracket is a bit bent, but it doesnt worry me too much

Im visting my grandparents for the week before chrissy, they live at Macksville and im staying at Nambucca Heads. Im leaving home on sat 19th and coming back on christmas eve. Im hoping someone can give a tour of the area as ive never ridden there before. Like the title says Coffs thru to Wauchope shouldnt be a drama. Ive spoken with Mick already but he hasent got time off until after chrissy. My brother Green450 (Daniel) will be catching a train up a couple of days before chrissy eve so we can both go for a ride.

If i have to wing it and take my GPS so i dont get lost i suppose that will do, there are plenty of state forests around.

PS Sunday after i get there might be out of the question because i might have a first night syndrome (cindy) and get on the piss and be too hung over.

    Any takers?

    Murph,
    sounds like a great ride.
All i can say after reading your report is
    ahh F#ck !

bloody Diddel asking to start early. if i had of got up and went through pre ride routine of startin car and hitchin trailer i probably would have had time for nrma to turn up fix car and still make ride.
due to the early start everything was done the night before.
its easy to look for people to blame in situations like these and unfortunately Diddel is has to cop it on this occassion.

on your fork seals, Lotsa put me onto a trick for seal preservation.

cut up a piece of foam thin, bout 1/2 cm wide and as long as it takes to wrap around your fork leg. slightly oil the foam and jam it betwen outer fork seal protector/dustboot and inner seal. acts like an airfilter picking up dirt. take it out and wash it every couple of rides or after mudy rides. i had a leaky fork seal which he fixed with the old feeler guage and have since used this method and havent had a problem since. i used foam from the ironing board.

    cheers
    tf2

I use about 1/2 inch think bits of wiping up foam.

we want ride reports Dildo not reports on your sex life

I think the Lebs are the most despised race worldwide (no offence to any Lebanese members?) no one likes them. The only problem is the fuckers that are doing all the carry on are born in Australia and don’t even practice the religion or the beliefs of their parents. It makes me sick.
