I don’t think you will need extra fuel or tools at the Birthday Ride anyway.
Just go out and cut a few laps then come back in for a rest, fuel, drink and food.
Unless you plan on going on the adventure loop…………

If a kilo or 2 extra weight in fuel in a backpack is a problem for your serious back issues, how much will the back hurt riding and crashing?
