Just like Bob, You and Me smashing it up out the back of Neville! Making tracks.
Old school KTM 620 too.
Did you ever mountain bike in Canada Scotty?
They build some wicked trails, love watching old footage of Guy Perrett smashing it up on his dirt bikes.
Why don’t you team up with Boony?
cool ride report
the rookie wrote:So does what does this mean for people that already own a husaburg ? Will you still be able to get parts ?Every part I have ever bought for my Berg has a KTM part number and KTM stamped on it, the bike even has KTM on the compliance plate, so it don’t matter what they call them they are all KTMs.
twobanger wrote:G,Day BobThats a fair old variety you got on your list mate,You could put on offer on Galey’s 300?
‘Its an old piece of crap’, just quoting Bob sorry Galey
Happy B’Day Timmy!
singletrackmind wrote:It seems that standard KTM’s have become the base model. The 6 day is the model with the decent fork and the significantly higher price tag and the Berg has it all at a lower price. Why would anyone shopping for one of these buy the KTM over the Berg?STM
So when they tell their nonriding mates i’m fully sick I ride a KTM they know what you are talking about. When you say I ride a Husaberg you just get a blank stare.
Or maybe they just like orange
If you can take it off to ride then it must not have been too painful, why did you even bother going to the doc?
Even though you are a girl I reckon you need to harden up
👿

the rookie wrote:So can a KTM fernatic please explain somethingLooking at the 350exc-f on the KTM page and saw their is a 6 day extreme model this year, so I did a comparison between the 2 350’s and on paper they are exactly the same, except the normal 350 has 8mm more travel in the front forks ?
Just interested to know what the actual difference is besides the cosmetic stuff
The 6 day model has a different fork “4CS”, the fork has a better feel, its easier to work on (respring, revalve etc) and is lighter. The same as the Bergs fork.
Heavier duty wheels and hubs too.
I won’t be there Ev, too far and I’ve got too many other rides going on at the moment.
BellingenEv wrote:Just had the day from hell, went to check the damage for this ride, after the big storm in march, unloaded, tyre was flat, pull it off, steel belting in tyre was snapped and had poked a hole in the tube bloody retread was so unbelievably hard to get on i snapped the belting.
Put the tyre back on drove home and put an old tyre on, went back couldnt get up the fist 30m too wet no tyre, detoured 10ks of highway got up there and the damage was insane and with no traffic for the last 2months the trails were terrible, cut about 20 trees in 1k, got the saw stuck 45min to get it out .
Dropped into a single trail thinking if i get stuck at least Ill have the chainsaw to make a way out, broke the chain on the next tree, had to keep going.
Got to a wet peice of shit hill covered in crap and a log across the top of it, had to cut a 2inch wide wedge with a handsaw and prize chips out with a tyre lever took 2 hours.
Went down the bottom to have another go battery was flat bike wouldnt kick over, another hour of kicking and screaming and starting to get late.
Luckily a local heard me carrying on like a pork chop and came down to see what was happening, i must have sounded angry because he brought his gun, he helped me up and showed me the easy home.
Net result cost me 200 bucks cleared 1.5kSounds like an average ride for you Ev!!!
