You have oowned that bike a week and have almost racked up the same number of k’s as my CRF
STM
And he didn’t even have to change his valves yet! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
A mate of mine had a crack in his rim, he just contacted a mag wheel repairer and it only cost him $40, did a really good job too.
They are somewhere in west Sydney.
There should be a mag wheel repairer some where closer to home.
swingarm bearings
What about all the young moto punks that either gave up or crashed and struggled on the single track and rough stuff.
If a fat bastard like me can do his last lap only 20 seconds slower than his fastest lap after 11 hours what is their excuse.
I bet they were in bed cuddling their teddy bears at nine o’çlock too.

Not sure it was un old bull like though TB , we had our best crack with no DNFs , BundyRoy was just a shit load better than some of us
LC and his team really impressed me for a bunch of loose units
they did a very professional job and rode so well they certainly were our benchmark to strive for during the race.
Galey and Mick were amazingly tough and stubborn and still flying to the end
Marty and Goc went out so hard too and were great to have a laugh with between laps
Apart from the rancid portaloo near our pit tents this was the best pit area to be in my opinion
:woohoo:
Nick
Ride hard play hard! :woohoo:
You should have stayed around for the after race shenenigans if you wanted to see some loose units in action.
Shitty putting his bike on the rev limiter at 1am and pissing the bed were the highlights of the event.    (and struggling to concentrate on the road on the drive home, I was so  I felt like driving off a cliff and ending it all)
Your filter was relatively clean compared to mine. At least you can still see some bits of moist oil on the outside, mine looks like solid dirt.
Probably only had the power of 250 near the end
Legendary overtaking, how much fun was it hunting people down. 👿
Love Spuds little yelps and screeches too!
Tomorrow.
No way was i fit for duty this morning, we didn’t finish up until about 3am.

Overall, class and lap times
We were Dusty Rusty
STMs crew Podium Proof
Mick and Galey were Dirty KTM 2 Bangers
Gocman and Marty were DILLIGAF (I think)BellingenEv wrote:Lap times……..?Mostly low to mid 23 mins for me, our team quickest was 22.39 by the young fella that was a late ring in but he wasn’t consistant.
Spud smashed out a 23.13, my fastest was 23.24 he just pipped me.
Scott, Nick and Chris were doing 26 – 29 on average, no one was slower than 30mins.
Galey and Mick put in some 22 min laps early in the day but 2 man team was too tiring to keep that up.
In 12hrs the track changes heaps and got rougher and rougher, plus you had to overtake heaps of swappers and try to see through the dust.
The best part of the day was near the end when heaps of people had already given up and there wernt as many on the track.
I’m rooted
Not so much from the race but the 3am piss up with a bunch of weirdos from Condo.
Our 4 man team got 27th outright and 14th in class.
STM, Nick, Spud and ChrisT got 51st outright and 29th in class, smashed it up in their first race
Galey and Mick killed it in the 2 man team, 37th outright and 9th in class, i’ve never seen Galey tired before yesterday
he did 14 laps :woohoo:
196 teams entered, 39 nutters did ironman.
The track was dusty and got pretty chopped out by the end of the day but everyone of the oldbulls was loving it!

Getting a bit sick of working on the bike in preparation. So far I have done:
New top end (and adjust base gasket to suit Slavens Mule head)
New tyres
New BB plastics
New grip donuts
New chain and sprockets
New bushes in the e-start
Carby flush
New exhaust packing
New gripper seat coverAnd due to parts arriving late, tonight I still have to:
Replace the flywheel (due to POS e-start chewing out the teeth, despite me doing the wet mod)
Replace wheel bearingsSo with a significantly lighter wallet and an ambivalent appreciation for Austrian engineering I will be ready to race on Sunday.
Watch out for the Dirty KTM 2 Bangers. I heard there’s a loose nut behing the handlebars on a certain KTM 300 from Bathurst.
The campsite is called “250 Free Zone”, reverting back to “Camp Drunkasf#@k” on Sunday night
